Salvation Army

In the last few months this place has changed a lot. Absolute rip off for a charity shop now, it used to be very reasonable. Prices in a charity shop shouldn’t be allowed to be this high. Whoever is in charge of pricing the items here needs letting go. Such a shame. Don’t bother looking in the shop prices are close to or more than the online price new or on better condition. Shambles that this has been allowed to happen.

Visited here a couple times to see what I could get. It's a fairly sized establishment with a variety of furniture, electronics and more. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited here quite a few times as I like to support The Salvation Army.The manager and the volunteers are really nice but I have had a couple of run ins now with The Deputy Manager who has to be one of the rudest women I've ever met.I have heard her a few times be rude to other customers also. In the first run in she said to me I couldn't care less if you spend £1 or £1000 in this shop. I said well the people who receive the help do. I knew by her attitude that she isn't a volunteer she is a paid member of staff as no volunteer would ever say such a thing. I reported her to the regional manager who said she would speak to her. I tend to go on her day off but unfortunately today she was there again. I'm sorry but this woman is doing you no favours and I will not be visiting again until she has left. she seriously needs to lose her job. Good will only goes so far and my patience has run out.

Had some great bargains, always drop of my unwanted items the staff are very helpful and kind.
