The worst car dealer in Wakefield by a country mile. Buy a motor from this company at your peril. Their shocking reputation is unacceptable and incomprehensible, and they shouldn't be able to trade with the unreliable and dangerous garbage they sell. Cheap and nasty in every respect, and after a recent visit to view some cars, wouldn't touch this despicable outfit with someone elsese bargepole. Buyers BEWARE !!

My first experience of purchasing a car by this means, but overall I found it to be very positive and straightforward.I part-exchanged my car and yes if I'd tried to sell it privately I would have gained a little more for it, but the part-exchange valuation offered by Parkside was very competitive.The whole experience was made very amenable by the excellent customer service of the sales agent Nadeem.He was helpful and dedicated without being too pushy. There were a couple of issues that required attention after the handover, and Nadeem went out of his way to resolve them satisfactorily, even responding to my enquiry on his day off.Thank you for the easy process.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS! This business is a disgrace. I brought a car from them in May, was advised the MOT would be redone with the price of the car and all issues sorted. Upon picking up the car, i was advised everything was fine, no advisories and the car had passed. After a few weeks there were problems with the car, so looked at the previous MOT advisories which were the same issues the car was having with me. I took the car to an independent garage and they have pulled a report which shows the car should not have passed its MOT. The cost of repair is going to be £700+. There are NO back breaks on the car as they had corroded down, the handbrake was so loose it needs to be replaced, and a whole host of other problems. Parkside Motors/Grove house motors/Flanshaw Lane Motors (THESE GUYS SEEM TO HAVE A LOT OF FINGERS IN A LOT OF PIES!!!) didn't want to know about these problems and essentially told me it was my problem not theirs and to stop calling them about it. It is illegal to sell an UNroadworthy car and to fudge MOT certificates. The car was unsafe from the minute i drove it from the yard, i just didn't realise as i trusted the guy i brought the car from - more fool me. PLEASE avoid these dodgey characters at all costs. Currently taking this up with trading standards and the small claims court.

Excellent service. Bought our car nearly a year ago and never had an issue

We went to view vehicles after informing them we'd be coming. Upon arrival the manager wasn't there but a young gentleman was. We looked around the cars & decided on one we'd like to try. The guy inside casually got up got the key & declared he was hanging out of his arse" so hungover basically & the manager would be back later. So we take the key & go to try thee car. The guy doesn't follow but sits back down to play on his phone. Once the keys in the car we tried the engine & nothing. The battery was so flat if didn't do absolutely anything. So we gave him the key back & left. We were very disappointed with the customer service after travelling so far to see the vehicle & the hard time we actually had getting there. We won't be recommending to anyone or returning."

Too keen to sell overpriced Cr*p, leave your details walk away and wait long enough he'll get back to you pdq knocking 50-60% off bringing motor down to a more realistic price!

PLEASE AVOID THIS MOTOR DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. TOLD ME THAT I COULD PAY LITTLE BIT BY LITTLE BIT FOR THE CAR I WAS PLANNING ON PURCHASING AND THEN LAST NIGHT 18/02/2019 CHANGED THEIR MIND BECAUSE THEY WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR LANDLORD CHARGING THEM FOR STORING THE CARS ON THE LAND WHERE THEY ARE. WHY SAY SOMETHING AND THEN CHANGE YOUR MIND. DOES MY HEAD IN THAT. GLAD I CAME TO MY SENSES, THEY TOLD ME THAT THE MOT WASN'T DUE UNTIL JULY WHEN IT'S ACTUALLY THE 4TH OF APRIL BECAUSE I HAVE CHECKED THIS ON THE OFFICIAL DVLA WEBSITE. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID !!!!!

Recently purchased a vehicle and met a great guy called Billy. Explained what needed to be done to complete the sale and worked within my timescales to deliver the car on time. Got myself a fair deal that worked for both parties. Communication was excellent and always returned my calls if unable to answer.

Do NOT buy a car from this place. Absolute joke of a business". I bought a car as i need one to get me to and back from work and i thought i found the right one but the issues I've had are endless.1. Boot was jammed - repaired at own2. Window electric needed repair - repaired at own cost.Finally had enough after brake calipers went after 3 days of driving. Rang owner and asked him to repair them or I'm se ding car back and he said if we did repair them

Hmmmm...... Yeah it's safe to say I won't be going back here, I spent 10 minutes looking at cars. The one I was interested in was full of junk and had a flat tyre, the cars were packed like sardines so difficult to get around them, no one around to help and to top it off the was a burnt out car in the middle of the yard. I walked away like a boss!!
