Sheephouse Manor Cottages

What a lovely place! Caroline is super helpful and friendly. The accommodation we stayed in ( the West Wing) is superb. The properties are set in lovely, spacious, very well kept grounds. The accommodation itself has all necessary amenities, it's very well equipped, tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable . It's a few minutes walk away from The Riverside. I really can't recommend it highly enough!

Lovely place to stay. We had cottage 5. Very tranquil, comfy bed and nice welcome from Caroline. Will definately return again.

My parents arranged for me, my sister and our 4 children to stay at Sheephouse Manor. When they phoned to arrange it with Caroline, the owner, she was very accommodating and suggested different options for sleeping 6 in a cottage meant for 5 (cottage 2 and 2A). She agreed to my teenage son camping in the garden, or alternatively sleeping on a chair-bed in the living room and suggested another bed in the double room so my sister and I could have the bigger room. When I phoned to confirm the arrangements she appeared to have forgotten the conversation and said about my son camping, I'm not going down that road - I'm not a campsite!" She also said she wouldn't have allowed 6 if she'd thought the double bed would only have one person in it.As it happened we ended up swapping beds around a bit - both single beds in 2A are very uncomfortable - one is part of an old set of bunk beds with a very old mattress

Very rude owner would not do anything about the unusable sofa bed leaving my friend sleeping in the floor with the cushions.Such a shame as the cottage and surroundings were almost perfect

My family and I along with our dog stayed at Sheephouse Cottages whilst our house was being renovated. The cottage was perfect and Caroline made everything very easy. Highly recommended

Excellent plsce to stay......peaceful and quiet with a lovely country feel, with The Thames nearby so lovely to stroll along the river banks, srlf contained flatlet .....great ambiance with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Had a lovely stay here. Beautiful surroundings and the room was immaculate! A genuine lovely owner, was very helpful and all round very pleasant.

Such an amazing place and we loved our stay here!The accommodation was perfect for what we needed, fully equipped, nicely decorated and comfy beds so we slept really well.As you will see from the photos, it is set in the most beautiful grounds! There is so much space and the whole family loved playing in the pool, going on zipline and seeing the chickens. We also just loved being in such a beautiful setting and being able to walk around such a beautifully maintained garden!

Had a lovely stay, enjoyed the private garden that came with our cottage, good size accommodation and it worked out very well.
