We have recently worked with Hawkeye Design on speed optimisation for a large complex eCommerce site. We had work done on this twice before which didn’t last and had contacted various developers and agencies to try and get a better result, all of which come to the same conclusion as to what was causing us problems. Many were also hesitant to take on the task of fixing what we had built and suggested that we would possibly have to completely rebuild.Ian analysed our site and took a completely different approach, confident that they could work with what we had and deliver what we wanted to achieve. This approach turned out to be right on the money and resulted in us getting beyond what we expected and a lot quicker too at a very reasonable price.Ian’s communication and timely updates were very impressive and at times was hard to keep up with how fast Hawkeye were working! Instructed Hawkeye Design to migrate one of our web channels sports-insight.co.uk. This was on Expression Engine version 2.??? and had not be update to the latest version (Version 7) Thus nothing that automatised the process because of the poor backend maintenance worked. So Hawkeye Design wrote bespoke code and systems to create the migrate process which was moving 12K posts, category's, sectors, tags etc etc. Which worked perfectly with not a single major issues at. The contact and support was second to non and made the migrate a joy, from a project that was far from easy. Because of the great service and WordPress and expression engine service we will be working with Hawkeye for all our third party work from now and into the future. Best service we have had from any company in a VERY long time.
