Chase Farm Hospital Urgent Care Centre

Years ago this place used to be very good. Now it’s a complete waste of time. I took my elderly mother there recently and the nurse didn’t even bother to look at her. Just sent us off to A&E. She was also very dismissive, didn’t want to look in her ears where her pain was just couldn’t be bothered and it showed in her manner. When I asked why she had to go to a&e she just shrugged. Obviously passing the buck and no idea what to do. I think they are only good for putting plasters on cuts and nothing else. Totally useless and a complete of time. Will NEVER go again. This is not the first experience I’ve had like this but will definitely be my last. They should just close down if they can’t be bothered to deal with peoples minor problems. Also no doctors there at all the day we went. Wish I could give minus stars!

Completely lost my voice after a sore throat and as I couldn’t get to see my GP I was advised to go here. Although I waited just under 2 hours I was seen by a nurse first then a doctor who fully diagnosed me. The reception staff were very attentive and professional, even the co-ordinator guy who was prompting people to register themselves on entry was very alert and polite. Thank you to each and every one of you.

I’d like to thank nurse Debra, the reception staff and the doctor who helped me when I visited them this morning with damaged ribs from a fall a few days ago. I was seen with in half an hour and the treatment I received from Debra and the doctor was really caring and super professional, I didn’t feel rushed even though they were trying to help so many patients. The whole department was pristine, including the toilets. Even the security officers who were on duty were happily engaging with the public, helpfully giving directions etc.The whole experience (which I’d been kind of dreading) was really positive. Had never used Urgent Care before, but couldn't get a gp appointment for my husband on the day and the surgery told us to go there. Couldn't fault it, my husband was seen and sent home with antibiotics in well under an hour. Staff efficient, friendly and cheerful. Thanks to all!

Quickly pointed out where to go by a customer info lady, sign at check-in said 1-2 hr wait. Was in triage within half hour and was then seen promptly by doctor. Took and checked samples they do, and then set up last check with my GP. Gave me good advice on managing symptoms and were very responsive to questions.

Used the urgent care center this morning. Was seen very quickly and the staff were amazing. So friendly and caring. The doctor was lovely and took such time to help and explain everything. So thankful for our wonderful NHS and the fantastic team at Chase Farm

Was checked in, assessed and discharged (with crutches!) in under an hour. All the staff were very kind and helpful, particularly the security guard who went above and beyond to help other patients (fetching wheelchairs for them, and generally being incredibly sweet). Very grateful for the excellent care I received - thank you.

My experiences of the Urgent Care Centre at Chase Farm Hospital have always been positive. The staff, from the receptionists to the nurses, have always been kind and compassionate towards me. There is a long wait to be seen but that’s to be expected given the demand on NHS services. Thank you to the staff at the Chase Farm Urgent Care Centre :)

Chase farm urgent care extremely helpful! You get seen within 2 hours, the doctor Mariya Rashid is an absolute star and there needs to be more doctors like her, she got me the right help and I could never thank her enough!!
