Shocking service. Ordered a pair of glasses having broken my previous pair in an accident. Promised it would be no more than one week. Still waiting. Various promises on delivery day missed. I moved a flight by a day on the basis they promised delivery by a certain time. Still waiting. Complained and the attitude of staff was shocking and simply did not care. I’ve never waited over a week for a pair of glasses in 30 + years of wearing glasses. This is supposed to be a premium product, but, it appears that’s just all marketing and no service.

Discovering Tom Davies changed my view of ever finding any frames to suit my face yet just as important something to reflect my personal style. Wanting something unique without having to compromise on quality. I can honestly say the journey from beginning to end has been a truly wonderful experience. The store is quite magical with limitless possibilities and the staff are so welcoming with a wealth of knowledge second to none. And the after care is just as great. The love I feel for my glasses hasn’t diminished over time if anything I I love them even more.

The first association that appears when the word optics" is mentioned is accuracy. I can say with great confidence that in this salon there is not only accuracy

Came into store today to inquire on a few prices, I was met by Priya, a bubbly character who couldn’t have been more helpful. I’ve had such a bad experience in previous opticians and Priya has restored my faith! She told me the process of ordering my new bespoke glasses and has been more than helpful! An absolute credit to your team! Definitely a keeper! I can’t wait to come back and order my glasses! Thank you Priya!

I have visited the TD Tom Davies store a couple of weeks ago and was blown away by the competence of the staff and the atmosphere. The idea of getting a unique pair of Bespoke glasses is just brilliant and the consultants adjusted the pair of glasses to my personal needs. Now that I have received them, not only the fit is perfect but also the design. Never have I never had a pair of glasses that I received that many compliments for. I would recommend everybody to have a look at the store as it is an experience and adventure, rather than just shopping spectacles. Will be there soon to get another pair. I was only in London for 2 days, and I emailed the store two days ahead of my arrival. Priya responded to be after hours and was able to provide me insightful information about the product, and also was able to slot me into an appointment for two days later, and accommodated my flight arrival time.Although it was later in the evening and close to their closing time, Priya and her staff stayed with me and assisted with my indecisiveness on getting my bespoke glasses. They had great customer service and was patient with me as I tried on several different types of frames, and asked for numerous numbers of samples just to see how things would look as a finished product.I have always had problems with my glasses fitting to the size of my face along with my long eyelashes. I would have to adjust my glasses or clean my lens multiple times a day because of the oil from the lashes. Priya spent a good amount of time adjusting and trying different methods to accommodate my lashes, and after my short initial time with the frames, they seem to be perfect!I highly recommend working with Priya and Tom Davies to getting your next pair of frames. I was able to get my frames shipped to me back to the US for free in very little time. I had to wait about 1 month, but this included both the Christmas and New Year holidays, which left me impressed with their turn around time and quality that they provided.I cannot wait to get another pair from Tom Davies in the horn material in the future!

Very expensive disappointment. Planned a trip to measure bespoke glasses.Was promised 1) perfectly fitting glasses. During measuring, at least 5 times it was mentioned that i should ignore lens sizes, they were promised to be be larger in end result. 2) engraved text in temple, 3) shipping notice.Reality; 1) frame is a minimum of 1 cm (10%) to small, lenses are not wide enough. As a consequence glasses look like swim goggles. Prior to wearing, hinges are loose, temples are extremely wide, only wearable if you don't move your head. 2) nothing was engraved and 3) too late and without any notice the parcel arrived.This might sound like knitpicking but if you charge £650, it might be fair that one assumes that promises are met.In all fairness, when i expressed my disappointment, i was offered twice to revisit the store for corrections. This will cost me £400 travelcosts and a day traveling. But somewhere down the line i lost my appetite to follow up on that offer.

I can highly recommend Tom Davies in Chelsea, having recently visited them for an eye test, where they have the very latest equipment.The bespoke service was superb and I am now wearing the best fitting glasses that I have worn in 25 years.Special thanks to Evangelina, for her attention to detail, professionalism and manner. She made the whole experience a 10/10.I will definitely return.

From the minute I first walked into the shop to get advice - to when I left weeks later after collecting my glasses, the service and attention was impeccable. I received un-rushed, qualitative care from start to finish - which was consistently warm and personal. The process was enjoyable and the product is fantastic - I love my glasses - stylish and comfortable. I would highly recommend and won't go anywhere else now! I have had two terrific experiences as customer of Tom Davies in Sloane Square. The wonderful staff really knows what glasses will suit your face, and they make them up custom to fit incredibly well. Most recently, Priya helped me sort a new pair during the pandemic when I was in Stockholm. I wouldn't use anyone else.
