Impressive rustic style cafe, with gluten free & veg options. Always great quality & portions. I recommend making a reservation as it seems like many people love it! The gift shop is lovely to check out after dining, many fresh & local food products as well as quality self care & home decor goods. Nice property too with outdoor seating as weather permits. Will return!

Our family, grandparents, parents and two young children enjoyed a superb breakfast in the restaurant. A very wide selection of dishes was on offer and I enjoyed delicious kippers. The shop was interesting and very well stocked. All located in a rural location with ample parking.

Called in here on the way back from Centre Parks and was lucky to get a table for lunch without having booked.The food was good, service was quick and the staff very friendly. As others have commented, it's not cheap but we thought it was worth the money.There is lots of seating outside for when it is warm / dry enough.Lots of parking here too. The shop had an interesting selection of gifts and the farm shop looked good too.

We went for Sunday roast. We had a dog with us so went to the dog bit. Were seated ok. But everything else seemed to take a little bit longer than expected. Felt like ages to get the food on the table. Than again felt like ages before the empty plates were taken away and we wanted to have a desert menu so i just walked to the till to get it rather than keep waiting for someone to come. My scone was lovely! My partner had a crumble and wasn’t keen on it.Overall i think for its price it should be a bit better.Three roasted potatoes on each plate isn’t really enough. Beef was perfect. And my cauliflower steak was delicious.

We come here every year to see the Newfoundland dogs at Christmas, and absolutely love it. Love to see it growing every year and more being added. The farm shop is always excellent and loved the addition of the craft year this year. I will see you again, Elveden!

The shopping area is gearing up for Christmas, so I won’t include any images as it’s still October. A bit early for me. Although generally worth a visit. Time for lunch so enjoyed a roast beef dinner. The beef was outstanding well presented but no peas, game changer for me, disappointed. Although tasty it was only lukewarm, again disappointing. However I would still recommend a visit and meal to complement your trip.

Delicious roast dinner. Huge Yorkshire puddings, with tender, perfectly cooked beef, tasty gravy and seasonal veg. Couldn’t book on this occasion as the estate was hosting Santa Claus. We were given a buzzer while we had a look around at the extensive farmhouse shop etc. We were told it would be 45 min wait but in fact it turned out to be 2 hours with a very patient (not always the case!) toddler …..otherwise would have got 4 stars based on food alone.

Love the location and plenty of parking. Well set out farm shop which is more like a high end delicatessen . Great produce and loads of locally sourced food . Didn't use the indoor cafe or the garden centre but it looked nice. We took our dog so we used the courtyard cafe which was delightful. Lots of seats and very spacious around the tables so no chance of someone's backside in your face. Special mention to the lovely Ladies who served us. . . such friendly and dedicated people that are the real unsung heroes. Hospitality is such a hard slog so thank you so much. All in all it's a great place to visit and you can take your dog for a walk through the woods too.
