Small hidden away free parking 5 normal sized cars. Great river walk dog compatible 40 mins to Brampton so a pub always a bonus ;-)

It's a free car park. Not a great deal to comment on! There's less than 10 spaces but people regularly park on the road side.

Carpark is small so you may have to find alternative parking. The wood is excellent but slippy paths in wet weather. It's great walking accessible to most fit elderly people. Great for a family walk if your in the area. Take food and drink as no local shops. Have a great time and don't forget to check out the Roman quarries. The cliff faces are covered in chisel Mark's.

A beautiful place for a walk with circular routes, gorgeous woodland and a lovely riverside walk section.Watch out for dog poo, especially the ones left in poo bags... So flipping infuriating

It's small! But there is a small amount of on road parking too.A great place for exploring Gelt Woods.If this is full try parking at the other end of the woods under the railway viaduct.

We visited on a rainy day so did not struggle to park,but there is space for literally 4 cars. The walk is very easy but would recommend appropriate footwear as it does get muddy in places.
