This disgusting so called “company” needs investigating.Premium went up 90% over renewal, they made an error their end which I was forced to pay for and then they cancelled my policy even though I had paid a year up front, this has resulted in my history being permanently affected. I didn’t even get an apology. I’ve been driving for 13 years and have never been treated so grossly.Scammers. Don’t go near them.

They should not exist, I'm surprised Trading standards have this Company still going? I think there only three people in the call centre, 2 hours on hold on call since 3.30pm till they finally closed at 5.30pm. Their offices in Lon are just a virtual office where you'll find no one there! just a bought address.They know they're sooo bad that they don't bother to improve at all. Ever!!

Paid for insurance up front 2 years in a row, go to pay for the third year up front, tell them I need to change one detail and that’s that I’ve lost my job and she says sorry we don’t cover unemployed people. I told her I’m looking for a job, it’s not permanent but it didn’t matter. I find it bizarre. I’m guessing they wouldn’t cover a stay at home parent then? Good riddance to be honest.

THE WORST, service was shocking, rude staff, I went to cancel my insurance and they charged me 400 pound, which should of been free because my plan didn’t start until the day after I cancelled, robbing company, was also on the phone for 2 hours getting passed around to different people, DO NOT USE, look at the review. (One woman was apologetic and was really good) young Scouse one, FairPlay to her, she should leave this company and go to a more professional company.

Shocking company, my son was his by a car on the wrong side of the road and Acorn and Haven claims did absolutely nothing to help leaving him with a huge debt when he did nothing wrong. They even offered £2k approx 40% less than he paid for the car after just a couple of months. They made him pay the full policy buy wouldn’t even say what happens to the rest of the policy term. Very quick to take the money but do nothing to help. Avoid this company at all costs.We will be taking them to the ombudsman.

PLEASE WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT GO AHEAD WITH THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND MESSED UP MY INSURANCE HISTORY. I have been insured on cars for 7 years and never have I ever experienced such in professionalism. They cancelled my insurance for no absolute reason and never sent me anything through the post or called me. They have messed up my insurance history due to their error. I now have an cancelled insurance on my name again for no reason and due to their error. I have been waiting for days to yet speak to a manager to call me I can’t believe I am going through this and stressed out for no reason. Do not I repeat DO NOT INSURE YOUR CAR WITH THESE ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS YOU WILL REGRET IT BIG TIME AND FACE BAD THINGS FOR NO VALID REASON.

Acorn Insurance Claims aka Haven Claims...Abysmal customer service. Actually no customer service.I have been completely ignored after refusing the settlement value I was offered (one third of my car's value).Still waiting on a reply.Acorn Insurance are the company I used for insurance.It's been 1 month since my accident and I have had ZERO communication from Haven Claims despite numerous calls and emails.

Please don’t bother.Took out buildings and contents insurance for a property. They had some further questions which I responded to. As I didn’t receive any acknowledgement of my response, I called them and was told there would a huge excess amount required on the insurance. I asked to cancel and there began my nightmare. No one seems to work in their cancellations department and I was on hold for more than an house and passed across 7 different advisors with the last one hanging up on me.They make it almost impossible to cancel and I wish I had never bothered to take the insurance with them in the first instance.EDIT: I have now been able to speak to someone in the cancellations department after 2 and half hours of trying and have been told that a new business fee charge of £10 applies to all refunds processed within the cooling off period. They are effectively trying to steal £10 for a service they cannot offer (cannot offer insurance for a property on exchange, only upon completion).If you must take out insurance with these charlatans, please pay using your credit card so you have protection when they inevitably try to rob you.

Took out car insurance had to cancel before 14 days didn’t even refund me my full amount which I was told I would receive the full amount. Absolutely disgusting
