A very pleasant night for our Family Christmas Dinner. Greeted as soon as we arrived, was made aware that our table was ready and waiting for us. We all had drinks and a chat before our meal and then made our way through to the table. The table was decorated nicely with everything we required. The food was served hot were necessary and very well prepared. The service was very good and nothing was left out. Everyone enjoyed the evening. If we had one thing to complain about it would be the Quiz night that took place whilst we were enjoying the night, annoying microphone and people complaining because we were talking and laughing enjoying the occasion and couldn't hear the questions and answers. What a shame.

I had a fantastic experience all around for my work's Christmas meal on Saturday 9th December.The food on the Christmas menu was prepared perfectly, and was priced reasonably.Drinks especially the ales and other alcoholic beverages on tap were priced well and were refreshing.The service we received was great, with a warm, welcoming positive attitude. They did not rush us between our starters, dinner and deserts.Will definitely visit again and recommend.

Thank you to the serving team who were incredibly busy on Friday evening. The food was really good, the waiting time was not bad considering the volume of customers. Food allergy information was given promptly. Two starters, main & dessert, two beers & two soft drinks- very enjoyable.

We haven’t visited for a while as we felt that it was beginning to look and feel shabby. Staff were not terribly welcoming and it had become a less enjoyable experience. However, last night we were pleased to see that the furnishings were being replaced and the tables and chairs were new. The management team and staff were very welcoming and we look forward to returning again very soon.

Booking was for a large group for our works Christmas meal. The booking system was easy to use online. Pre ordered the food using the paper copy, very accommodating with alternative food choices.On the night the table was already prepared for our arrival, in a nice spacious area. The food came out promptly and at a nice pace. Very attentive staff asking if everything was ok and did we need anything else. Food was delicious and nice to have a good choice of food. Went with 5 family members . All our meals were different but everyone said they were good. Great value as I had a 30% off voucher. Staff were helpful and polite. Nice atmosphere in the pub . Was able to reserve table online easily.

Great staff, Sean, AJ and Jo lovely welcoming people, full of lovely banter. Great sharers and lovely soups, food and drink is never a problem here, and the staff are exceptional. Car park gets a little full with little option for parking in the village. The manager is also a lovely fellow, think his name is Neil.Great experience which my 93 year old mother has requested to have here next birthday meal at.

The staff when we arrived were friendly and welcoming.The lady who took my order for drinks and meals was very nice. She forewarned me that the meals would take ‘half an hour’ to arrive (possibly because it was a bank holiday?) which I didn’t mind.She brought our drinks over to save me doing it.The meals were great.The pub itself is attractive and comfortable.Overall, very positive and we plan to visit again.
