Best Friends Kennels and Cattery

We had a last minute emergency and had to pop our dog Koda into a kennel for about 2 weeks recently. She had never stayed in kennels before so we were a bit nervous… but we shouldn’t have been. Alan and his staff looked after her really well, put us totally at ease when we dropped her off and when we went back to drop off some extra tablets for her that she takes daily, Alan had mentioned that he was due to phone as he knew she was running out. That made us feel very secure knowing that he was keeping on top of her medicine. She got a wee bath before coming home too.The online booking system is really easy and simple to use. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be booking Koda back in next time we go away!

Tia our 5 year old cross collie/springer has just came home from her “holidays”. She has had a bath and smells great and is all fluffy. She looks as though she has had a good time Alan is a lovely man who clearly has so much time for the animals he cares for. We were recommended to use best friends and I will be booking Tia in again for our next trip in January!!. Thanks best friends xx

Just got our two old English sheepdogs home from their 4 day stay and they have come back looking great! They have been bathed and clearly well looked after when away. The team have been great with communication and were very helpful. Would happily recommend and use again!

I booked my cat and dog into Best Friends as it seemed logical to take them to the same place. They had availability too which I couldn't get closer to home. Best Friends has a lovely setting, out in the wilds of Fenwick Moor near the wind farm. It has outside space for my dog to be exercised and peace and quiet as she is a nervous girl. Both cat n dog were beautifully looked after and dog in particular as she got groomed before coming home. We have been back a couple of times now and get a lovely welcome and the feeling that they really understand our pets!

My dog Mochi is always well looked after by Alan. We used Best Friends twice now and he had a great time and got bathed as well. I would recommend Best Friends to everyone and we will continue using this kennel.

Our three Schnauzers Ollie, Pixie and Ziggy had their first stay at best friends. I was pretty anxious about it as they have never stay In kennels before. Should have been worried as they enjoyed their two week holiday and even had a bath before coming home. The kennels were kept spotless and Alan the owner was friendly and chatty and the dogs liked him so that was a bonus. I will definitely use again and would recommend.

LOVELY CARING PLACE!! I have left my dog (husky) before at other kennels and I have never been satisfied, however the ‘Best Friends Kennels and Cattery’ was an amazing experience for me and my dog. I highly recommend this kennel to everyone. The workers there are extremely friendly as well. I will definitely return to this kennel once again. Thank you!!
