I cannot rate Ironman highly enough! If you love training then you’ll be spoilt for choice here-every body part has multiple fantastic options! The owner is a multi time bodybuilding champion and has trained 100’s of bodybuilder’s to championship level! There is an atmosphere conducive to hard training and world class equipment !! The bodybuilding Mecca of the North without any doubt!!

4 floors full of great equipment, all the tools you need to train. Even when full there’s no waiting for equipment. Very reasonably priced and good supplements. Best gym in the Preston area by a mile!

Excellent gym. 3 floors of great gear. Decent prices with water, proteins and other supplements on sale. Friendly users that are there to lend a spot or guidance if needed.

Everyone is so friendly and very lively gym . I was there only for about a week . I had to move to another gym only because they were not open after 1pm on weekends. I'm not criticizing. It's just that my work schedules were mostly during weekends so I missed a lot of my sessions.The machines here are the best. There are a lot of old school machines even the modern gyms doesn't have . Lastly I love the leg machines here . The muscle activation is something else . The allignment and configuration of those machines are just perfect. I'd love to go back again .Plus they helped me out with my PR test.

Honestly the best gym I’ve been to by far! I travel from Essex every so often and always make sure I make time to visit. No nonsense, serious training gym for people who really want to see a change in their body. The staff are really friendly and are happy to offer advice. There’s lots of choice of machines to work with. A handful of machines are exclusive to the gym as the owner designs them himself to target specific muscle groups and they really do work! All I can say is, if there was an Ironman near me I’d be way beyond the point I am now in my training. Highly recommend!

A great gym with all the equipment you'll need

Ironman is by far the best gym I have been to in Preston for those who are serious about training. Knowledgeable staff to help out, ask questions and well experienced. All the machines in this gym are designed to work all muscle groups. You can't get anything better.

Great bodybuilders gym. Super equipment, great atmosphere! A breath of fresh air in the dark days of the chain gyms that are sprouting everywhere!A venue where you have the equipment and staff with the experience and knowledge to guide customers in the correct way!

If you like pop music and standing around talking about the soaps etc this gym isn't for you. This gym has a dungeon feel to it, with heavy metal screaming out of the speakers (No Britney spears here) and the clanging of metal from the equipment inside. The gym is very well equipped, although basic, it has everything you need. The support from the trained staff will give you advice about training what to do and when to do it. Also nutritional advice so you can get the most and best from your body. This certainly is a Hardcore gym, the staff are friendly and the other gym users are great too. I would highly recommend anyone serious about Bodybuilding. This is your gym.
