While killing time I stumbled across this lovely little shop in Waltham Cross.I have to say the lady working in the shop was very warm and friendly, and so was Paul, who had a wealth of knowledge about vintage Singer sewing machines. I was so impressed with both staff and the shop, I have now subscribed to their website and looking forward to visiting the shop very soon in the near future.

I went into this shop for the first time a few weeks ago, I couldn't believe how much stuff they had in stock, I feel you could find anything here. I went in looking for a baby romper pattern and was surprised they had at least one of every pattern in stock, so you can pick anything in the catalogue and they have it. The lady was so lovely and helped me find the trimmings I needed for pattern and when I also asked about elastic and they had a good selection. It's so unusual to find a shop where everything is in stock!

Great service, knowledge, and links to the industry. I have a modern sewing machine that needed a quote for repair as it was damaged in transit. They found the fault and were able to service and repair the machine with genuine parts. They kept open and quick communication with me during the process, which was fantastic. I would definitely come back here for all my sewing needs.

I cannot fault this family run business. Paul is very knowledgeable, helpful, reliable and goes the extra mile for his customers. This business provides the kind of thoughtful service that I thought had long disappeared but thankfully hasn't. Highly recommended indeed.

Paul is so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to sewing machines I am so glad to have found his shop and expertise near to home. He was able to answer any and every question I had now that I’m ready to transition from a basic Brother machine to one with electronic settings (which became not at all intimidating thanks to his demonstrations!). He talked me through all the key features and made me feel confident leaving the store with all the basics skills I needed to get started using it straight away. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting his shop for all my future sewing needs.
