Southpoint Firearms

Purchased some consumables earlier this year, great service from the owner who was very generous with his time and knowledge.The range of more expensive, enduring items is excellent imho, being more exotic and interesting than you'd find in most places. Also there is the offer of a Southpoint custom build, which I am looking forward to making my next investment once paperwork is in order.

When asking questions about firearms and pellets, I did not expect to be judged by the owner on what I spend my money on. Then I was threatened by the owner, telling me he would inform the company I work for (as he looked me up on linkedin), if I wrote a review. Not helpful at all, felt bullied and certainly will not recommend this shop to anyone in the future.

Outstanding! John is a real character. I did a 600 mile round trip after placing a reservation online. The shop is well kitted out with many different firearms to choose from. Really good experience and would recommend to anyone. I’ll keep a close eye on the website for a future purchase but next time I’ll opt in for postage LOL. 10/10 great experience and well worth the trip thanks again John!

As a novice and having read the other reviews I was dubious about using this local shop so went to check it out. The feeling I got was good, straightforward, no nonsense approach without any pressure. On my second visit I purchased a s/h rifle with a new recommended scope. After about a month I noticed it was down on power and thought it was my fault so went back in to have it checked and serviced. He could have easily baffled me with bs and charged me for a new spring and seals, instead he quickly fixed it for nothing, told me what was wrong and zeroed it for me. Safe to say no tin can is now safe from 50 yds. Very pleased and will make all future purchases through this shop.

Brilliant service, phoned up Monday morning, ordered over the phone and received the item Tuesday morning, faultless.

Strange experiences with this company.1. Tried to phone several times to ask questions.. No reply.2. Placed an online order which was accepted. I followed the procedure to pay by bank transfer but when I input the details my bank flagged that the bank details and name of Southpoint Firearms do not match.3. I saw that this company have an account on signal and tried to contact that way. No reply. Needless to say I did not follow up on my order.Fraudulent you say? I would be very careful using that kind of language if I was you. I would also update your website and procedures. If an item is out of stock why not say so before someone wastes their time with an order. If you claim to have informed someone of this then actually do so. I also note that you did not address the fact that your company name does not match your bank details.
