My Àmàlà had raw flour lumps in it and wasn't light like it's supposed to be. For that amount of money should be perfect, I don't understand why you don't take pride in what you do and sell. A shame really!O yẹ kí Àmàlà fẹlẹ ni!Plus the stew you sent me the bottom of the pot.I know because I've just tried to call you and you're shut. Really for £15.00, why do this?

I ordered egusi soup upon arriving I noticed the restaurant had a beautiful makeover. The egusi wasn’t the way when I bought before. This was the worse egusi I’ve ever tasted, if this was the first time eating egusi I wouldn’t eat it again.

11th/05. Coming from London my last visit with a group of friends was amazing so I felt like going back again. When I got there it was rather unfortunate there was some maintenance work going on. So, all orders were done as takeout. Not very familiar with the menu, I asked this kind young lady at the reception what they had. She tried to tell me but couldn’t list them all. she asked the cook on duty who was near what the specials for the day was. This cook was so rude I almost walked out she said to the lady “let the customer order whatever” but she said do we not have specials for today? they cook answered we have. The young lady “so what is it? . And immediately the cook got so angry and started screaming at her even the guys working at the maintenance had to walk up to the young lady and talked her to be the responsible person because the cook was acting so unprofessional. This lady came up to me and tried to apologise for the inconvenience very mature of her, I also heard the cook calling on phone to the person in charge and was lying about the lady meanwhile all she did was ask about the menu for the day. This cook might be good at what she does but she needs a lot of professional teaching to do. The 2 stars are just for the way the receptionist handle herself and tried her best to stay professional if not of her I would have walked out. The experience I had when I came the last time I felt so bad I did not have the same experience I just wanted to taste some homemade food

Cosy restaurant along mostyn lane in Manchester. Longing for traditional Nigerian food, I found this restaurant by chance and I am going to be patronising them any time I find myself around that axis. It's money well spent. I surely will be back for more. Next time I am going to ask for a take away.

Packaging was nice for the delivery but there weren’t options for the type of protein. Can’t assume everyone would eat fried meat! Aroma was inviting but I didn’t feel the Egusi soup sorry.

Worst experience. Ordered Jollof rice, chicken and plantain & beef dish, waited 48 minutes to be served burnt rice, dried up Turkey and no plantain & never received the 2nd dish. When the server came over to ask we explained the situation the the rice was burnt, given Turkey instead of chicken and the plantain was missing, she then started to speak rude about us to other customers and put me on the phone to the owner who didn’t want to listen to anything I had to say, completely rude and embarrassing that you would even serve that food. She demanded we had to pay or have an alternative order… which why would we want to wait for the same poor food? absolutely shocking experience

Okay so, I am a foodie, I literally hunt for the best places to eat wherever I travel, and I am very picky when it comes to my African food; so I searched for a long time and gave this restaurant a try.First of all:-the food is FRESH-it is REAL African food-IT TASTES absolutely amazing-and the PORTIONS are just perfect. The ladies there prepare everything from scratch, and mind you these dishes need time and patience to be cooked and these ladies don’t disappoint.I have found MY NEW AFRICAN RESTAURANT in Manchester.Give it a try You won’t be disappointed, if you need they’ll explain to you what is what. Also the place is modest but gives a little African ambiance that is worth to be known.

I went with my friends for a show in Manchester and we were hungry. We decided to try out some home dishes and we decided to try here out. The Amala and ewedu was delicious combined with the assorted.
