Shropshire Glamping

It was a great weekend in the Lake House. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. They tried to help on every matter throughout our stay. We enjoyed every moment with nature. The house was comfortable. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I, along with our labrador, spent Monday to Friday in the Summer House in September. We were warmly met by Lisa and shown the facilities. The summer house is wonderfully positioned on the lake side. The accommodation was immaculately clean, warm, cosy and in good working order. All the equipment and furnishings were to a very high standard.I was able to walk the dog each morning for 30-40 minutes within the boundaries of the farm and woodland. This location is impressive, very quiet and relaxing. It is ideal for dogs as both Rob and Lisa have dogs themselves and welcomed our 4 legged friend.We were able to watch the bird wildlife from the comfort of the verandah but missed the otter by a few minutes. The fire pit was well used and the night sky and stars were wonderful.Lisa also gave us comprehensive information on local walks,pubs, gardens, farm shops and other local points of all.We plan to return to the Summer house in the spring.

My partner and I stayed at the cabin on the lake for a long weekend and loved it. The place was a quiet little paradise.There are four properties around the like on the site but the other guests were very nice and respectful.We were able to rest up and relax with a stunning view of the lake regardless of if it was sunny or raining. Lighting some candles in the evening gave the place a really cost and romantic feeling.If you are lucky enough to stay on a clear night, you will get an amazing view of the night sky as there is little to no light pollution.The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, would definitely consider coming to stay again.

We stayed at the Summer House for my mums birthday, and it was the perfect way to celebrate such occasion! Bob and Lisa were so helpful! From check-in to check out, they were there every step of the way. The place was a little gem, with beautiful views of the lake (extra beautiful in the morning while you're enjoying a cup of coffee). They also provided us with recommendations around the area which was so helpful. They made our stay enjoyable. Thank you so much for the experience Bob and Lisa! We will be back soon.

Beautiful setting for a relaxing weekend with a pooch. Thoughtfully laid out and provisioned by Bob and Lisa.The summer house is lovely, and we got a glimpse of the Shepherds huts and the dome while we were there which are all equally beautiful.Set in 20 acres and 10 mins drive from the nearest town, Shropshire Glamping is enticingly rural. BBQ and Fire pit provided for a beautiful evening dining by the lake.Highly recommended and would love to visit again ❤️

Oh my goodness, what a fabulous beautiful place to inhabit for our short stay.We were welcomed and shown around by Liz who was very friendly and helpful and was available throughout our stay via text (we needed help finding the location as it's found along a secluded single track road)The cabin we stayed in was on the lake edge and was absolutely superb. Quality of finishing, decor and cleanliness is excellent and perfectly equipped for 4. The bedroom and living room has double french doors opening out onto a balcony from which you can see the beautiful vista from your bed. Double bed is very comfortable btw and bedding top notch. There's a shower with lots of hot water and fluffy towels are supplied.Living room is a little tight when sofa bed opened fully but it was manageable and very comfy and forced us to be tidy throughout our stay and since we were out and about during our stay it didn't impact unduly.The outside seating area overlooks the lake and has solid comfy wooden seating and table on hard standing, with brilliant views together with firepit and barbecue which we really enjoyed. Wood, fire lighters and barbecue coals were supplied.The owner, Bob, was extremely friendly and was on hand to help with anything we needed. Nothing was too much! Before we left Bob was happy to show us around his allotment space and barn which at the time had kittens at various ages which my daughter was desperate for us to take but we declined these, unlike the delicious eggs and runner beans.This place is a haven and well worth a visit. Don't be put off by the word glamping when you're searching for a beautiful quiet place to stay, it's better here than numerous places we've visited over the years.Thank you for making our lovely short stay so memorable Bob, we hope to return before too long.

An absolute fabulous nights stay in the geo dome, for me and my other half’s anniversary. A lovely peaceful setting with a very friendly welcome. I was amazed at the size of the space and the decor inside the geo dome… the log burner being a brilliant touch. It’s fair to say we will be back at some point in the near future.

Just returned from a two night break with family / friends and WOW what a place!!! From the moment you arrive you are warmly welcomed by Bob and Lisa who are on hand day or night to help you throughout your stay. The location itself is located in a very secluded area providing you with a tranquil, calm and relaxing environment. Our family of 4 stayed in the summer house which is located overlooking the large pond.This accommodation is absolutely beautifully furnished to a very high with an exceptional eye for detail. The main bedroom overlooked out onto the pond which was a lovely view to wake up to as your having your morning cup of coffee. The king size bed was very comfortable with sumptuous bedding. The sofa in the living area turned into a double bed providing an excellent sleeping space for our two children. The bathroom had a walk in shower and the decor and accessories were to a high end finish. The outside area comprised of deck / seating area surrounding the summerhouse with a barbecue, fire pit (logs, sticks and lighters provided) ideal for entertaining.Our other family members occupied two other pods located around the pond and again were individually equipped beautifully to the exceptional high standard of ours.Overall we had an amazing stay and can’t wait to return later in the year.If you are looking for an exclusive, tranquil, relaxing break that provides an exceptional high standard accommodation then this is the place for you!!Highly, highly recommend a visit to this gem of a place!!Thanks Bob and Lisa for your hospitality.

I booked a last minute weekend away with my mom, it was such a beautiful place. Lovely to look out in the morning and feel so relaxed.We didn’t have great phone signal but to be honest it was so nice to have a break from the phones and switch off.Everyone was very welcoming and was on site if we needed anything.Highly recommend!Amanda
