Glansin Glass

What a great way to spend a couple of hours. The visitor centre/workshop is bright and spacious, with a lovely view, although we were so engrossed in creating glass masterpieces we barely lifted our heads! Cheryl is so friendly and welcoming, and knowledgeable about glass and techniques. Four of us made totally different square hanging glass pieces or coasters- can’t wait to see how they all turn out! Cheryl has some beautiful pieces available to buy, and we could have spent a fortune. Thanks Cheryl- we loved it!!

While I didn't visit Glansin Glass during my trip to Shetland, I did receive a glass dish from this shop as a wedding gift. It's very beautiful and great quality. It was shipped to us internationally in very secure packing. I checked out their website and if unique designs are your style it's definitely worth checking out.

Do visit this gem of a place. Beautiful glass, using old Shetland lace as a template amongst other wonderful designs. Great information given

The owner is really friendly and interesting to listen to about how she's makes the glass art work.Thank you ....This is A Must Must visit......We bought some lovely glass stars plus a few other items.They even have an online shop so we will be buying more

I spent a wonderful afternoon with Cheryl in her glass workshop making a glass hanger. Cheryl is a wonderful teacher and the location of the workshop is wonderful with beautiful inspiring views! I would highly recommend the glass making workshop to anyone!
