Church Farm and Barn, St Briavels

Recently stayed at Church Farm with a group of friends who did their nurse training together many moons ago. We had a really wonderful time. The cottage and hayloft were warm and comfortable, with lots of little touches to make us welcome. Mel and Chris were great hosts. Mel is a Nordic walking instructor and gave us a beginners lesson and 2 walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage set in the rural landscape of St Briavels(Ross-On-Wye). We had our family of 6 sleeping there for a week in August and had everything that we need either in the cottage or in the local vicinity. Within a small walk from the cottage but still on the grounds there is also a beautiful view of the natural surroundings. The owners of the cottage are lovely and welcoming, we met them a few times whilst we were there. There is also a piano in the living room along with an open barn with a table tennis facilities. We are all hoping to go back there next year!!!

Had a wonderful stay here. The cottage, barn and loft have been fantastically restored.The gardens are beautiful woodland where we had our Nordic walking lesson. The surrounding countryside where we practised Nordic walking is beautiful.St Briavel is a delightful village.

Thoroughly enjoyed a couple of nights at Church Farm Barn for a girls’ reunion.A beautifully appointed cottage in a wonderful location.Our host, Mel (a qualified instructor) gave us a couple of Nordic walking lessons in stunning countryside.St Briavels is a pretty village. Good local pub and well stocked community shop.Highly recommended!
