Newly built track and weights gym, with brand new gym equipment, fantastic changing facilities and running track. Great to see that they have disabled accessible changing areas and access.The terrace area and lounge space are great for watching the action as people practice.

Modern, bright and neat little gym with lots of windows connecting you to the surrounding park, and a comfortable lounge area with access to hot beverages.

Good place, but you've got a whole park for cycling and a whole track for jogging, a whole section of mats for stretches and kettlebells - and half the gym is still full of cardio equipment.Only one bench for dedicated presses, only two squat racks, and small selection of machines which are always in use. The weight area is consistently crowded and not very well suited to a straightforward workout.Cut half the treadmills, bikes and row machines and add more benches and squat racks, and it would be the perfect gym.

Not much in the way of cardio machines but great little “new” gym with spanking new machines and a running track to get you out for your cardio.

Possibly the best Everyone Active I’ve been too. Finally a branch with new, clean facilities and a good sized functional area. There’s also a full-sized athletic track. Love it!

What is going on? I joined this group of gyms when it was not run by the council 6 months ago. I started going at the Surrey Docks and Water Sports Center. At peak times half of the treadmills were broken and remained like that for as long as I was going there. Also cleaning standards are quite low there. In September I tried the Southwark Park and Sports centre and I liked this one because Yew specifically and other staff are friendly and welcoming there, which makes a big difference. However this gym has only two treadmills and one of them has been broken for 2 months now which means I can't start my training sessions the way I want because someone is using it most of the times. On top of that the blinds that are in fornt of the treadmill are stuck half way so when you use it , it is like you are in a metal box. The whole idea of trainig inside the park is to be able to enjoy the view and especially when you are running on the treadmill. I am really disappointed with how things are going, It used to be my favourite gym and I have had conversations with other people about the issues. Where is the council exactly helping if it takes them more than 2 months to fix a treadmill{still broken} and a month to sort a blind? Are we paying for this kind of services really?

We used the gym and it’s got lots of equipment and is super clean and modern, recommended

Nice local running track, easy to pre book but also doesn’t look too busy most of the time

Looks like a great gym for residents with outdoor area and two other places that belong to it.
