Phenomenal service and incredible food - best decision we made coming to York to visit. The servers couldn’t do enough to help and the meat just kept on coming! The salad bar was hugely varied and the chips, garlic bread and pineapple were just delicious.

I'm looking forward to going again, I really enjoyed it! The meat menu is great and has pineapple with cinnamon too - that was a great way to finish dinner! The only thing I was wondering, why the floor was so sticky? Also, the service very kind, attentive and chatty.

We had a fantastic family meal here for my daughters birthday.The food was lovely, the meat was cooked to perfection and the best salad bar I have seen, and plenty of it everything, the food kept coming, no waiting for anything. The pineapple was a favourite and brought back out when we asked for it.The staff were all attentive and lovely too.We will definitely be back.

We hadn't originally planned to go here, and didn't really know the format. But it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive, friendly and chatty, the salad bar was varied and full of so many fresh flavours, and the meat served was amazing. The cuts were succulent and cooked wonderfully, with a lot of choice (there's even more on an evening).It isn't the cheapest meal out, but you are not left wanting and can take as long as you like to enjoy the food.

Apart from the too loud music, we enjoyed our half-price lunch with many visits to the table from young lads with their impressive meat. The lamb was particularly good; would have preferred a stronger flavour sausage choice as the chorizo offering was rather pale and mild. Good choice from the salad bar. Will return when they have another 50 percent off deal. Helpful with one of our party in a wheelchair, though a family table was partially blocking access to loos - had to go to Sainsbury's nearby for their disabled toilet.

Very accommodating, had a slight issue on our size with over bender of our party thing Kate and was happy to reheat/being fresh next for their arrivalMeat was topnotch and served medium rare(unless you ask for your preference)

I dined here on the 17th of October of this year... and MY GOODNESS... if you like meat, this is the place for you.First of all, the atmosphere of this place is just perfect. The aesthetics of the place are very swanky and trendy and you could almost think you were on holiday somewhere. Lovely candlit tables by big open windows and nice mellow lighting. They played fantastic music in the background which added to this. Nice ambience and subtle melodic beats, no chart music here, and it's all the better for it.The food here is incredible. This is meat that has been cooked to perfection and with the utmost care. Juicy, tender, moist, delicious. These are just some of the words to describe it. Presented to you individually on giant skewers, you're literally offered something to eat every few minutes, and it is up to you if you want to eat it or not... but trust me you want to. And when you're full, you're full, simple as that. So don't load up too much on the salad bar beforehand.I also had an incredibly rich chocolate fudge cake with ice cream for dessert, and it was perfection. Surprised I had room for it in hindsight.My wife and I took advantage of the date night package, and so we got to sample all the meats and got a free mocktail with it too which was also absolutely delicious.Lastly, it has to be said that the lovely staff couldn't do more for us. They were all lovely and smiley and attentive and made sure we had a fantastic time.Now obviously a restaurant such as this isn't the cheapest place so keep that in mind, but you're absolutely paying for quality here! I barely took photos of the food as I was so in the moment; but trust me if you're in York and you like this kind food, you want to visit here.

My family and I ate here last weekend and we didn't have the best meal so we let the manager know. The way that the management handled the complaint has been amazing and I appreciate them reaching out to us immediately to try and rectify everything.we came back to eat again this weekend and have to say, it was such a great experience and the food and service was exceptional. We will certainly be back and have recommended to our friends too. Thank you for allowing us to come back and change our opinions.

Amazing food and great service. Would have loved to just come for the salad bar too. Went on Monday and it was 50% off. I suggest getting a pint as its on offer too @£3. Really enjoyed it and will be coming back.
