Probably excellent for tradesmen who know what they want but not good for the homeowner who just wants to carry out a simple repair. Looking through catalogues or a computer screen is extremely difficult for a non tradesman to identify what is wanted. I needed to be able to see & handle a range of parts to be sure what I wanted. However the staff were fantastic. They did all they could to help. However I bought this wrong product & only saw the error when I got it home and unpacked. They refunded the cost next day with no quibble immediately.

Although the area is growing fast, the screw fix here is only a small place compared to others I have been to. The staff are friendly enough, but there are quite a few things that you will have to order in advance.

Rude, obnoxious women clearly just proving she has the power to refuse customer, I’m a 33 year old male dressed in work clothes pushing 19 stone abd stand at 6”3 tall and because I couldn’t prove I was 18 years old, she wouldn’t sell me a Stanley knife. I clearly look my age she was just clearly having some kind of power trip, unfortunately I didn’t get the not so lovely lady’s name but absolutely disgusting and I won’t be coming back!!

First time we have been to a screwfix store. We went for a new shower had a good idea what kind we wanted. You have to place your order a bit like an Argos. Its straight forward easy directions to follow, then you go to the counter they look it up, you pay and they get your item, in our case a shower. Straight forward, not busy would go again.

Great asset to the area and the staff are always really friendly and helpful. Have exactly what you expect in any Screwfix and have the collection machines on the wall if you order ahead of time. Easy access with their own car park so no hassle of finding a parking space which makes loading items up easy.
