The rooms are cheap and I am grateful that they provide this service. They are one of only a few people providing shared accomodation in Frome. They are a credit to the area.Howeaver, there have been a few things that have caused me fustration in the past. There were one or two maintenance issues that, although they did fix them in the end, it took them ages to get round to doing it and I had to throw some of my toys out the pram to get it done. After making a fuss they kindly placated me and got the things fixed in double quick time.Additionally, the contract that they were using when I let a room significantly disadvantages the tennants and does not reflect reality. Tennants must sign up for a minimum 6 months. There are terms in the contract that specify that you must continue to pay for the room if it becomes uninhabitable through fire damage. There is a clause that states the end of the notice period to leave must coincide with the day of the month you first moved in. I had these two clauses removed by amendment before accepting the contract; I am told they don't reflect reality in any case.There were a couple of other greviences such as stuff to do with bin bags and unemployed people but the Property Manager is very willing to listen to constructive criticism so perhaps these kinds of problems will be improved with time.
