Beautiful Designs

I have used this dress shop for a lot of events. I had my prom dress for this shop and my wedding dress. Have never had a problem. I made an appointment about 2 weeks ago to a different dress altered. I have had other dresses altered before and never had a problem. I arrived at the shop at 2pm this afternoon to find the shop closed. I looked at the opening times on the website and the shop supposed to close at 4. I phoned and spoke to a lady who told me I was not booked in for an appointment I assured her I was. She asked me what it was for. When I told her I was having a dress altered not from the shop she replied oh we don’t do that anymore and the shop is closed. I found the lady to be very unhelpful and a tad rude. She didnt seem at all interested or apologetic. I’m very disappointed as I have found this shop to be very helpful and friendly in the past. I will definitely not be using them again.

Gemma is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. A relaxed atmosphere and I would definitely reccommend to anyone.

DO NOT trust or buy anything from this women she is a con artist. I never received my bridesmaids dresses and lost almost £1000 and had to source new dresses 3 weeks before the wedding as she shut her shop, wouldn’t answer call and only way i could talk to her was through Facebook messenger. Do not waste your time or money. She should be prosecuted for being a thief.

I had some pretty rubbish experiences in bridal stores and Beautiful Designs were a breath of fresh air! So professional, so supportive and full of so much knowledge to help you with your choice! 'THE' dress was perfect and the alterations they also did were stunning, you would never have known that I had to have it taken in as much as I did because the lace was still perfect! Would definitely recommend to any bride!
