Drive Taxis give good service. Usually this firm's drivers collect in a very short space of time. Highly recommended(Sadly I experienced a driver on Thursday for the first time who didn't offer to help me with with my heavy shopping bags, he didn't even bother to open the taxi's boot for me to get my shopping out! His concern for basic road safety was lacking too, leaving me feeling fearful at one junction that we'd be in a collision. Registration: DP67 LBG).

Absolutely horrendous service!Firstly the driver arrived 10 mins late despite me pre-booking 2hrs in advance, the driver the struggled to get out of the pickup road revering in a zig-zag between cars, eventually after 5 MINUTES he decided to make a 3 point turn on to the pavement. As a driver myself, I was fearful of his driving! I booked this taxi to take me to the train station, 30 mins before my train (it's only an 8-minute drive according to Google Maps) and yet I missed my train due to his lateness and lack of driving skills! He dropped me off near the train station and told me to run for the train! With less than a minute until my train left and a massive backpack and other bags, this was impossible, and I missed the train, causing me to be late arriving at my destination and costing me an extra £68.90! The response I got from the email complaint I put in was they were not liable as it wasn't pre-booked 24 hours in advance; what is the point of pre-booking then? Why are you hiring drivers who can't reverse straight or judge traffic instead of breaking extremely abruptly? During our trip to Hull, we used them three times, and all three times, the drivers made us fearful in the car. I will never be using this cab company ever again!

Alternative to Drive taxi is WILLERBY CARS. Very polite and friendly driversI recently had a less than satisfactory experience with Drive Taxi in Hull. It seems their practice of calling upon arrival isn’t as reliable as one would hope; I've found the phone barely rings, leading to misunderstandings and, subsequently, missed rides on multiple occasions.The communication and level of professionalism within the service were notably lacking, with drivers often displaying a quick temper. I would like to bring particular attention to a driver with ID: 1127, who exhibited no professionalism and displayed aggressive behavior, which was quite distressing.Service providers, especially in industries heavily reliant on customer interaction such as the taxi service industry, should maintain high standards of respect and professionalism. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken into consideration, and appropriate measures are taken to enhance the level of service provided, including necessary training to improve professional conduct.

This company allows their dangerous drivers to park on double yellows blocking the view for small children walking to the nearby primary school. I have complained multiple times and either been lied to that they'll do something about it, or they act belligerent and cry that it's private drivers so they have no control. I have seen their drivers park on bike lanes and leave their cars to go chat with friends, they run red lights constantly too.Please boycott this irresponsible company.

Not happy, I ordered a taxi for my husband to go to work. He had to meet his coach. I ordered 7 hours before we needed it on the app thinking it would be on time or just a few minutes late. Over 20 minutes late and still no driver allocated. Had to cancel in the end and drive him myself and miss a health appointment.App was easy to use thats why i have given 1 star, but not happy

I found myself in need of a taxi from HRI with no money and my cash cards at home. I had the cards in my phone wallet but was unsure if taxis had chip&pin. I rang through to the desk and explained my issue. The help I received was 10/10 and was talked through stage by stage of how to pay for my journey through the taxi firms web App. The App was easy to navigate which made the process super quick

Started using Drive in April this year and found them very good as they were punctual, polite and reasonably priced, however recently pre-ordered a mini bus via their app for a trip from North Ferriby to Ellerker and was quoted approx £20.00. Two cars turned up instead and we ended up paying approx £30.00 in total. On the return journey again no mini bus instead two cars turned up (20 mins late) and one was charged £22.50 from Ellerker to Brough (approx 4 miles) and one was charged from Ellerker to Swanland £26.70 (approx 7 miles). I complained to Drive who said the cost was down to a peak time tariff (Saturday night) and West Hull village surcharges! Needless to say I will not be using them again as it appears they can just charge what they like and we paid nearly £80.00 in total for what should have been a 14 mile round trip and a mini bus would have been nowhere near this price.

I’ve only had terrible experiences. Today I booked in 2 days advance a taxi for 5:30am to go to the airport. As usual, they could not pick a driver so I had to cancel. What is the point of doing a prebook if when the time comes they will try to assign a driver as if you don’t even have a booking?

Waited over 30 minutes for a taxi. I had 2 small children with me, we were waiting in the rain. 2 taxis accepted and then cancelled picking up our booking. I called to explain the situation (needed to get one of my children to his appointment) to be told it’s nothing to do with them, it’s down to the driver. Refused to do anything when I wanted to make a complaint. Was told they’d ask the drivers why and the phone was put down. I used to use Drive on a regular basis, I will not be using them ever again.They’ve always been late, even if you pre book using the app.Never again.

Earlier than most but a good drive and driver.Out of 23 trips so far only one poor driver but apparently that was taken care of.Great service and thankful for it.Part of our great NHSs patient care.Having radiotherapy at the moment and the taxis are supplied for patients when ambulances are not available. Otherwise it would be approximately two hours each way by bus to get my treatment.
