Leeds City Academy

The worst school my daughter got a comment in her planner at lunch for talking to her friends and the teachers are so rude she said one of the teachers said shut up to a boy and they get in trouble for ridiculous reasons my daughter got DT for asking for a glue and got removed for it too now she’s crying bc she thinks she’s a bad person I think that students shouldn’t get in trouble for talking and asking for a glue this school is a bad school do not take your children there they are really rude and say shut up and shout at students all day they aren’t even aloud to go in the halls and go to classes without a teacher telling them or they get comments in there planners or get DT I WARNED YOU DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE ONLY IF U WANT THEM TO THINK THEY SHOULF GET PUNISHED FOR EVERY LITTLE THING THEY DO MY DAUGHTERS STILL CRYING ABOUT IT THR TEACHERS FOBT CARE ABOUT CHILDREN HEALTH AND FEELINGS SHE SAID TO A TEACHER why do you hate me it was so sad and the teacher said nothing it’s a really bad school do NOT take your children there they also don’t let children go to the toilet because they lock them and teachers stand by them and when my daughter was in DT she said they just shouted at them for being bad and gave them work with no fresh air they licked doors and windows too please DO NIT take your children here I warned you again

I do apologise for the previous review. One of my children wrote it when she was using my phone.

This school is worse school I have ever seen, try do not bring your child to this school.

My son is there, still not finished year 7 however I can see that they are caring and considering about all matters, the only thing is I would like more paper homework because I didn't see my son do much

Very nice place and people is with very nice behaviour.

Horrible and tiny

This is the best school in the world. The teachers are amazing and help you if you are bothered to learn. I went to this school and so did my son and my sons results were amazing. Thank you to all the staff who taught Umar irfan Iftakhar and thank you mrs Andrews his and my science teacher.

To be.fair out of the academy's in Leeds this one is good, teachers are firm but fair some I feel can be over the top. Most are very approachable and understanding any issues are generally dealt with effectively they will arrange meetings very quickly with parents to resolve any issues or concerns. I'm going to add that they have been super supportive with my sons medical problems which means he requires time off on occasion long as you do everything by the book. I have had no issues but full support. People like to put Academies last as a option but I suggest they look into this one as a good option.
