Grove Theatre

I've never come across such a low standard of basic humanity and care as the front of house staff at this venue.My daughter recently had quite extensive surgery but still wanted to attend the pantomime with her school, so the school made special arrangements for her to still come.On the day however our daughter was still very nervous and scared at the last second, so my wife chose to stay in the foyer in case she was needed. Unfortunately due to this last second change she had no coat or warm clothing as the expected plan was a simple drop off.She tried to buy a coffee from the bar to keep warm but was refused service by the staff there. Despite being visibly upset and in tears from how cold she was (as the foyer is not warm), she was laughed at by the service staff and even though she tried to explain the situation they simply slammed the 'bar closed' down sign in front of her and walked off laughing among themselves.I've had to leave work to come down and just bring a coat and warm drink since apparently the grove theatre doesn't have any shred of human decency required of it's staff.Utterly atrocious lack of empathy and basic human care.

Lovely small ish theatre. Don't think your view would be a problem wherever you choose to sit. Fantastic evening too singing and dancing along with Re Take That. Look forward to our next visit.

Great place to attend and see shows. Does not matter where you sit you can still see and here the performance.

I was very fortunate to get an upgraded ticket to see Francis Rossi and I have to say it was one of the best evenings ever. My thanks to the Manager who upgraded the ticket and the service received, fabulous. Also to the friendly meet and greet people onsite and the Grove front desk employees, very friendly and welcoming. I have been to many music concerts at the Grove and will continue to do so. We are very lucky to have this venue in Dunstable.

Great Theatre, fantastic choice of shows.Lady boys of Bangkok was hilarious. Well worth a night out.

Great modern theatre with mostly good views. Need more space between the rows to make it easier to get out of aisles.

We love the panto , at the Grove theatre with the Grandchildren. We go every year, but this year it was Cinderella I've got to say it's been the best one yet.

Saw Radio GaGa . Great show ,and I love the venue. Would recommend the side seats, if you can manage a few stairs- great view.

A very pleasant medium sized theatre venue with good acoustics and well placed seating with plenty of leg room. The building could do with more exterior signage; you have to know where you are going to find it from the car park despite the building being in clear view, a single banner on the back wall of the building directing towards the concealed entrance would be a very helpful addition.A large bar area (£3 for a pint of Pepsi didnt seem too bad) and clean facilities all go in the Grove's favour.

This theatre wasn't the best for me.We saw an illegal eagles concert and the seat and flooring construction seemed poor,l was going up and down uncomfortably most of the time with the music vibrations even when l was trying to relax.Not enough seating provided in the large foyer whilst waiting,not good for seniors and people that can't stand for long.Doors everywhere so everything someone came in it was freezing cold.Parking was fair if you don't mind a short walk.The group was amazing so that made it worthwhile.I would go back to this theatre but l wouldn't sit in the stalls.....
