Our top priorities when looking for a rented property is a warm, clean house.Watch Hill was spotless and warm & cosy throughout.Bonus was the layout of the house was perfect for a very large family group and Emilie was very helpful when we had queries….even letting us arrive early as the property had no bookings prior to our stay.Watch Hill has a large, well equipped kitchen, making life very easy if one is doing self catering for a large group.A very enjoyable stay for our family group of 14 adults & children

We had a lovely stay with our family. The house was bigger than we expected and was beautiful. We really loved the fact that it was in secluded area, walkable distance to beach, town centre & marina. The host Emilie was lovely and welcoming. We had a fab holiday. Would love to come back again.

Absolutely beautiful! Stunning sea views, an amazing property, every need catered for. Loved the finishing touches in each room from the colour schemes, to the bronze animal lamps!The grounds are so well kept, and only a few minutes walk from the Sea front and Town centre.Which all made for an unforgetable weekend!

We stayed at Watch Hill to celebrate our son's 1st birthday. Emilie was very responsive before and after the event. She kindly made some adjustments for us and provided additional beds for a modest fee. Our deposit was swiftly returned after our stay. Recommend 100%.

I reserved a holiday cottage in Cornwall through unique holiday stays that was also available on Airbnb for a cheaper price and with more flexible cancellation terms- including a full refund for advanced cancellations.Preferring to get the service that I saw from the other reviews, I contacted Unique to see if they would honor the same cancellation terms available on Airbnb, I was happy to pay the higher price; they agreed.I have since needed to cancel the holiday (with 8 months notice), and they are refusing to refund my deposit and have also stopped replying to emails. I would just book directly on Airbnb for the most flexible terms and best prices!

We were hit with some very unfortunate news last year meaning we were unable to attend our original date. The compassion shown by Emillie and team was outstanding! We can not recommend enough! We had an absolutely fantastic experience and stay from beginning to end with Unique Holiday Stays. All communication with Emilie was kind, clear and helpful.Checking in process at the house was so easy. The house was so beautifully decorated and comfortable, set up so nicely with clear instructions on how to use everything. There was a lovely welcome pack with teas, biscuits and lemonade as well as fresh flowers on the table. Beds were so comfortable, everyone professed to have had the best night's stay they'd had in quite some time from the first night we arrived.The grounds were very well kept too and perfect for a welcoming family stay whatever the weather. Instructions for using everything there were clearly left out which was helpful on the odd occasion we needed them during our stay. Check out, along the same lines was wonderful and really clear too.We would 100% recommend staying with Unique Holiday Stays. As a company they are a delight to deal with from beginning to end, friendly, helpful, efficient and welcoming.

West House was such a lovely place for a short break with the family. Its grand and opulent but also cosy and comfortable. The grounds are delightful - we enjoyed the walk to the private beach which was near enough empty when we got there. Its also ideally situated, with it being just a 10 minute drive to Lyme Regis beach. We would definitely go again - the house was kitted out really well and had everything we needed.The only things to bear in mind are that the house has a lot of stairs which might be tricky for some, there's a cinema room in the basement which was nicely done but it was very musty inside so we didn't end up using it much, and using an Agar oven took us a bit of getting used to - but we got there in the end.

Singleton Manor was a great venue for a family holiday for 3 generations aged 3 to 64 including 5 children plus a dog. The house was lovely, bigger than I expected, well maintained and equipped with a large garden. The indoor pool was fantastic, the kids loved it and the adults loved the hot tub. The house is well placed with a short walk into town.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this charming Welsh cottage! It was a bit rustic, which was part of the charm. We felt like we had stepped back in time. In the evenings we would gather around the kitchen table by candlelight and play games or read. We loved the wild beauty of the landscape and all of the sheep who live there. What a special experience this was!
