great carpet i had via greendale from my local retailer in walsall, carpet looks stunning and was excellent.regards a review from a Mo from what i understand consumer rights say the retailer has the right to replace the faulty goods and put the job right, and as for contacting their supplier direct , the contract is with the retailer not greendale..like if i but a samsung tv from currys if there is a problem i go to currys not samsung as the contracts from them so my advise is id ignore that from MO tho i understand his frustration but that`s with the retailer not Greendale..i have had 4 greendale carpets over the years and would highly recommend them and the retailer in walsall i had then from.

We've been one of Greendale's members for 7 years. Great service, very competitive pricing, great resources/products, friendly staff. Cannot fault this company.

We bought Greendale Stromboli for our hall and stairs but after just 7 years it has loops that have come undone and the edges of each stair is very worn. Only 2 of us living in our house so it doesn’t get hard wear. Apparently Greendale only expect 6 years of wear from this carpet range and yet many other companies offer 10 year guarantees. Has put us off using Greendale again.

Bought a Greendale Carpet from a local retailer. After 5 weeks it developed holes in the bit fitted in the bedroom. Contacted the retailer who said only they could deal with Greendale and would be out to look at carpet. They insisted they come on a day I wasn't home so I had to get someone else to let them in. I never heard anything from either Greendale or the retailer for 2 months so contacted retailer again. Was told Greendale had never got back to them but was going to contact me direct. I never heard from either so started an insurance claim against both. Retailer suddenly gets in touch and says Greendale will replace the carpet. I ask for a refund as I didn't want to deal with retailer again but was forced by the retailer to take the replacement. I have never been given the full information on what was happening so I have pushed for details.I have found out that the retailer never looked at the faulty bedroom carpet so didn't check the holes and never reported the holes to Greendale. Greendale's refusal to speak to me direct meant they were given the wrong information by the retailer on the situation with the carpet and I have found out that the information given to me, that supposedly came from Greendale was actually the retailers interpretation of events.Greendale need to deal with complaints about carpets they supply direct with the customer so things can be handled properly with all the correct information instead of going through a third party then maybe it won't take 6 months and be incredibly stressful to sort things out like it has for me.The retailers attitude and Greendale's lack of contact has lost both of them a customer.
