National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Booked for a wheel alignment service and I came 10min before my appointment and the staffs in reception told me to coke next day morning.I am thinking what is the purpose of these booking system ???

Excellent staff with good knowledge and experience. Will always go to these guys first for any tyre or brake issues.

Have just sent the below in an email to their customer services team after my experience today:Monday I took my car to Winchester national tyres to have the two rear tyres replaced. On Wednesday I took my car to a different garage for its MOT and received an advisory as the rear tyres were near the legal limit. On closer inspection I discovered the new tyres had been put on the front, despite my request being for rear tyres, and despite it being very obvious the front two tyres were nearly new and the rear were not.I called national tyres and complained and arranged for the mistake to be corrected today (Friday 3rd March). I took my car in today for the mistake to be rectified. My car was returned to me and when I started it up to drive away a warning message flashed up that the rear RH tyre had a puncture. My car had just been driven to me by one of the staff so this message must have flashed up to him and he did not say anything to me or think to try and rectify the problem. Two staff members then tried to fix the problem but then came to me and said that some models of car need to be driven for a bit before that message will go away and I should try driving it. My response was that I was not going to drive my car away with a warning light and they need to fix the problem. They then spent more time trying to fix the error message and did drive it and the message has now gone, however I don't trust the quality of their work. This all took 2 hours out of my working day to rectify the mistake they had made on Monday.I won't be using their services again.

A real don't care" attitude. Couldn't be bothered to even book a time to repair a puncture. Just told me to keep coming back to see if it was convenient for them! There are better places to go for tyres."

booked online had email to say they couldn't make it and could two days later morning slot! 2.30pm that day phones said it was the wrong tyres and could do on the Saturday, then phoned said they couldn't and cost would be more! Asked for a refund! Just as well I didn't have flats! Asked for a refund!

They are the worst place to go they try and make more money out of you the stuff can be lazy the the company is just the worst place in Winchester

Staff seem helpful and hard working, but sadly the pre-booking option online is totally pointless.Booked my car in for a set of tyres at midday, job not completed until 3 hours later. Coldest day of the year and I'm wandering around Winchester like a spare tool for 3 hours.Still waiting for Halfords (they are the parent company of National Tyres) to respond to me but about my disappointing visit...If they sort the problem with the booking system then I'd say give them a try as the prices aren't too bad. But for anyone looking to pre-book I can't recommend.

Like other reviewers- NEVER come here if you need same-day service. I popped a tyre by the train station and needed it replaced. Got charged £210 for a Primacy 3 tyre! And the guy behind the desk managed to say with a straight face that they were just charging me what they pay. Business must be good for them to be screwing over locals like this!

Thank you National Tyres in St Coss. After blowing out a tyre on a pothole, the team have been incredibly helpful & professional. National Tyres were able to squeeze us in on a Saturday afternoon to fit our new tyre. Albeit Halfords quoted the wrong tyre size, National Tyres had what we needed & did everything they could to keep the cost as low as possible.
