Obviously with the current situation, there's only online shopping or Click and Collect. A bit of a queue when I arrived, but things went relatively smoothly. Everybody observed the social distancing so no problem there. Staff friendly under the circumstances , so experience not too bad. Let's hope normalcy returns before too long.

Arrived at Sheffield Central store at 18:54, shutters were down yet advertised to close at 19:00. I don't mind if you close at midday but don't advertise you're open when you're not. A wasted journey and I only wanted one item. That's my only experience of this store so for all I know that's how Wickes operates.

Great place to come and fill the van up with DIY gear..And that's the problem....Sheffield Council will start charging me £10 just to come to your shop..They're implementing a clean air zone, and if your vehicle doesn't meet their new standards, you'll be charged £10 per van, £50 per truck.Sorry to say but we'll be using out of town DIY stores from now on..Good luck for the future..

This is a very large store with reasonable prices for basic hardware. Unfortunately I spent a lot of time searching here for an item that was supposedly in stock (and confirmed to be in stock by staff there and the website), but turned out that it actually wasn't in stock. The item in question was a tiny part and I was able to buy a larger set that included it along with some other piping for a reasonable price, but it really should have been available separately without having to buy a bunch of extra stuff, especially when it was supposedly in stock as a separate item.

Just had a virtual bathroom design in storeat Sheffield Central with Sue. Really friendly lady & very knowlegable. She gave excellent advice & assistance to someone who had no idea how to proceed. Advised on price & what was right for me not just the most expensive. Thank you Sue

I need to replace an old kitchen .. I got fantastic service from Abi Davey yesterday. She asked all the questions I wouldn't have thought of. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I highly recommend the kitchen design service.

Having spent £1000’s at Wickes over the years, not one more penny will I spend there again as I’m one of ‘bigots’ that to55er Wickes ‘operating officer’ that invited me to stop shopping there.Ok, you win, I won’t spend another penny at Wickes ever again. Congratulations. Your loss.

This place gets on your wick. Just kidding Like all Wickes stores it is not really for the outright amateur. You really need to know what you want. The cash and carry of the DIY world, but the products are good and the prices are competitive. Word of warning though, despite what is says over the door, they don't sell wicks.

Good service from the staff. I asked where I can get the C shape of shower curtain ring and he asked me to wait cuz he was in the middle of something. And after a few mins he showed me the area. So I bought it and it is so cheap only 1.5 pound for a pack of 12. Lastly, The parking is also spacious. And the location is close to the moor market.
