Room was comfortable and clean. Very noisyMusic blaring until 1.15am. No food being served because it was weekend. Not disabled friendly. Very steep stairs. Knocking on door at 10.15am even though it says 10.30am checkout on sign on back of door and told verbally at checkin.

Bar closes earlier than advertised, no food was served. rude staff & the room was below average, light in the bathroom didn’t work and the beds were ancient along with the room. Rude staff member banging on the door to scream at us to checkout 45 minutes before checkout time at 9:45am was not ideal either, on the door it clearly stated 10:30am. It was also advertised as a B&B but breakfast was not even entertained and was not granted time to shower. I realize it is a small town but courtesy and customer service, and overall property management could greatly be improved.

I was with my diving friends out for a drink. We were in Holyhead for the weekend to do some diving and training. We didn't choose this pub initially but our regular had closed permanently.I think we were all a bit out of our depth here! As mature adults it was pretty obvious we had landed ourselves in a young persons bar where they were getting up to young persons things. We had one drink and left. The local police officers were present outside chatting socially and having a laugh and joke with the pub goers.I was going to go the toilet but I decided to leave it till I got back to our digs! The gents was extremely busy with a lot of coming and going? It was busier than the bar!No not for me Thank you. I suppose if you are in your late teens, early twenties and have a thing about regular trips to the Gent's toilets!

Needed an evening meal in Holyhead, didn't want spicy food as sailing next day. This pub was about the only place providing an excellent range of pub grub. Landlord was a top bloke very friendly and chatty with a sharp wit and recommended the fish and the pork chops we is what we both had and both meals were outstanding.Good range of drinks and food worth a visit.

From start to finish totally unsatisfactory. We stayed for about 30 mins. Ordered a Drink they refused to make a cup of Tea fair enough. Tables were sticky and cluttered with dirty dishes. The Owner himself had a problem with us not sure why most people love Irish women, my 15 yr old Daughter was yelled at! To go somewhere else to sleep her hangover off. I explained she may be 6ft but she's only 15 and she does not drink ... we had an early start to get the first boat and she had just put her head in her hands. I would not recommend this Pub under any Circumstances. We waited till we got back on the boat to eat.Save yourself the disappointment and Avoid.

Food was good beer was good. Beer was good. Shame they do not do coffee as they do food. Also, not allowed to bring a coffee in bought from the shop across the road. According to staff, brewery don't allow it. I've worked in pubs for over 50 years and first I've heard that. But as they say in life, first for everything.

Clean room, loads if tea and coffee facilities rather than the usual 2 of everythingGood hot water, strong shower but decor in tge room tired and personally i found the bed mattress to be a bit thin and lumpy..There is loud music on a Friday and Saturday until midnight which wasn't clear on the website so either take earplugs or go and join in !I would stay again....it was good value and a good location ...Good price znd oarking and the back

If you are looking for a room to spend a romantic evening then perhaps you should look elsewhere. But, for me, a single bloke just looking for a clean room, with a shower that works, quiet, easy to park and well located, then perfect. Defo no frills tho with a very budget feel.I paid just over thirty pounds for a single room, which is probably about the right price.
