The Staffordshire Oatcake Company

I made a packet of these today. I'm from Staffordshire but live in Essex and always miss my favourite treat! They are a delicious recipe - a lovely bite and good texture, far better than some of the nasty ones you can buy in the shops. I added just a touch more salt to the mixture (my taste only). My pack made 10 but were perhaps slightly thicker than they should've been. Having made my own batches of batter before, I won't be bothering again with this excellent product available!

We received the oatcake mix as a gift. Had a go at making them and found it quite simple. Tasty recipe and hubby loved them fresh from the pan.

We made Staffordshire Oatcake Company oatcakes with the family who all loved making and eating them - easy to follow instructions and they were delicious!We also gave a couple for Christmas gifts and they loved them too :-)
