Lovely hidden gem of Weymouth. Great views from the reserve on the surrounding cliffs in the distance at sunset Portland also visible but only.from the far side.Peaceful walk although along secluded pathways. An aspect of Weymoith I have not seen before.

Take a stroll along the promenade from Weymouth to this beautiful haven for a wide variety of birds - we saw hundreds of lapwings putting on an acrobatic display to rival any air show

It's very pretty natural wetlands, a favourite for bird watchers. Also level footpath to the beach front.

Loved having a wander round it's been a while since I had a day at a reserve. Just a few pictures of some birds I saw there, not ultra clear with my little camera.

Rain or shine, such a good place to have a walk. Pathways are flat but can be stoney and muddy at times.

Lovely tranquil walk with do much nature around from Warnlers to Waders and more. It's the first time this summer that butterflies were plentyful and dragonflies hovering over lagoons. We only spent an hour here but definitely not long enough as we only saw a fraction of what is on offer here. Only draw back is the cost of parking which is not cheap.

A tranquil and peaceful place for a lovely walk. Very well preserved by the RSPB and thumbs up for the upkeep and haven it has become for wildlife. Lots of walks you can take and plenty to see. Only thing I would say is the carpark is a little pricey and does deter you from a longer stay, however there is not a lot the RSPB can do as it's council ran, so please don't let that put you off enjoying this wonderful place. For any dogwalker, nature lover, birdwatcher or walker its perfect though.

We had a quick walk just before sunset, a fantastic place to visit and will be returning with more time, either before or after just have a gentle stroll into weymouth which ever way you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature around you. In another month or so the blackberries will be in abundance so great to come and pick them with your children whilst enjoying the area around you. Well worth a visit.
