Stockport Designs & Build

Previously had an orangery built by Stockport Designs and Build and the quality of the brickwork and construction was excellent and we wanted Stockport Design and Build back to do a major project.2019-2020 Lee and his extensive team came back to build a two storey side extension in which, now completed, looks amazing. Lee has a particular skill of being able to match bricks/tiles and the extension and roof construction blends in seamlessly to the original house. We also ended up with a bonus loft space with roof light due to some joinery opening up the loft in the extension.Lee has contacts with all trades along the way and helped source an architect, structural engineer and the (unexpected) piling contractor etc.Any problems are sorted which is one of the main reasons we chose Lee!I cannot wait to start enjoying the extra space created by Stockport Design and Build! It is our best luck to meet up with Lee on the house extension works. Lee demonstrates strong leadership, superb project management and problem solving skills, at a reasonable price. He and his team work on tight schedule and meet/exceed all my expectations.My kitchen extension, full house re-flooring and front/back garden works took less than 3 months to complete and met the agreed schedule as planned. It is brilliant!During the works, there were some new requirements from the authorities and Lee had his extensive networks and experiences sorted them out in a short time. He focuses on my project throughout the period. As a customer, it is peace of mind to let Lee and his team to manage the project.Lee is also explaining the works in details and patience. It lets me know what are going to do next.His team is great too. Lee couldn’t have worked harder. We had an orangey extension to replace the old conservatory.It’s really difficult committing to a builder. But we booked following a recommendation and now very glad we went with them. Lee has a real pride in his work and ensures all the work is to the best quality and clearly he and all his team want to please the customer.All the team are friendly, hardworking and good company. Over the summer we had all possible weathers and the lads worked very long hours, extra days and weekends if they couldn’t complete that which was scheduled earlier.Had a few changes in our decisions going along and Lee didn’t hesitate in sorting, wanting us to be happy with the finish. Added extra plastering, hiding pipes and moving a rad without any complaint. He has a great relationship with his subcontractors who I can see equally enjoy and want to work along with Lee.Honest, fair and good value. After paying for everything Lee continues to make sure any bits and bobs are sorted. Very happy to recommend and hope to use again.

Lee and the lads have just completed a two storey wrap around extension on our house.Throughout the build the team were helpful and flexible when unforeseen problems arose or we asked for any extras. They were always happy to explain what was going on and offer advice as we needed it. All the lads went out of their way to make the experience a pleasant as possible and we really appreciated that and still miss them being here.We really pleased with all the hard work everyone put in to get things finished up to a great standard and we'll definitely be calling again when we need more work doing. Lee and his team did a great job on our new extension. He kept us updated at all times and easily overcame any issues that arose. We also used Lee to lay a new patio and replace all the guttering, facias and soffits. They arrived promptly at 8am, worked several Saturdays and even a Sunday to get the job finished. After the job had been completed and paid for he still arranged for someone to come round to complete a small snagging list and even fitted isolating valves on the hot and cold taps so I could take the sink out before a new floor and kitchen is installed. Great customer service and really happy with the final product. Thanks again to Lee and all of his team.

We first met Lee and the gang when he did our extension 5 years ago, and we couldn't be more impressed by the workmanship, professionalism and high standards throughout the build - Lee is a great guy, great communicator and ensured the project ran smooth from beginning to end.Lee and the team have been back in recent weeks to render the outside of the house and do other building work. Again the works have been top notch and to a high standard. It was great to see them all again...Big thanks to Lee, Phil, Greenie, Luke and Mike for all their hard work.Can't recommend them enough!!

We’ve just had the garage converted into a bedroom and a wet room.Lee and his team are all friendly, courteous, hardworking, professional and always kept us in the picture with the progress.They tidied up and removed all the rubbish after work each day.We are extremely pleased with all the works; the rooms look fantastic.We can recommend the lads and will be asking them back to redo the kitchen.

The job was to dig up & replace a concrete floor & I am really pleased with the end product. All of my questions were answered promptly & I felt the price quoted was fair & transparent.
