engineer came and said we had water coming in our aerial and the aerials needed replacing. Quoted to replace the cables and main aerial. When he came to do the work he said the aerial to one room was ok, having previously told us there was water damage at the end of the aerial that goes into the tv! The rest of the aerial was apparently fine ! so no cables were replaced, the second room was also ok apparently but he still charged us the full amount, nearly £400. we phoned to query this and went through to a London number and found out the company is Dakota not a local company despite being on a local number which is misleading. When we queried the price, Dakota greed to refund some money as we shouldn't have been charged for work not done or they could replace the 2 cables. We said we were told by the engineer they didn't need replacing so asked for some money back. A week has passed and no refund, not even pending with my bank so phoned again today but no one available to talk to so we should get a call today, Not very good service and wouldn't use again.

First of all after a very basic search all their 5 star reviews are from local guides" ( as shown beneath their names)with fake pictures! Had some roof works done and since then the signal of our TV was poor. The aerial is 9 months old. Just paid £80 for this guy to come in

Booked a week in advance, no one showed up or contacted me in the given times lot. I rang through twice, I was told they would call back with an eta, no one updated us. waited in all morning, no show, no apology.

My experience with this company began positively with the helpfulness of office staff booking an appt. However, the engineer Paul took only a very quick look at my aerial and assumed the antenna was broken, quoting a high price for replacement and labour, ignoring my query about the cable which was clearly broken not the antenna. A second company sorted out my poor TV reception with a replacement cable at a fraction of the price. When I complained to this company, the response was to pass on the comments to the engineer with no attempt to deal with the fact that I had wasted a lot of money on the callout. Very disappointed. This is a very expensive company. I will not recommended them.

Really poor, plenty of alternatives on Checkatrade - booked appointment, nobody showed or contacted me - call the contact centre twice who advised I'd be called back immediately, and wasn't.
