Pets at Home High Wycombe

Myself and my wife visited have recently bought home our first puppy.On the 17th October we visited pets at home with our puppy for the first time, and what a wonderful experience.All members of staff were delightfully interested, helpful, and knowledgeable.In particular Natalie really helped us out with information, guidance and support when discussing the trials and tribulations we were experiencing.More than that the kindness and knowledge she showed, the interaction has given us confidence in pets at home and the ability to drop in for helps at any time.Thanks

Staff are really helpful, download the app for lots of discounts and handy hints,open till 8pm and also has the vets for pets in the same building

*Just to note* My review is mainly based on the customer service help provided by Pets at Home. I do not recommend people to come to these shops for pet medication as most of these products, if not all are just cheap substitutes for real pet medication. Please speak to your local vet for advice. I believe it is unethical for staff to give recommendations on products that don’t actually work properly!Other than that, Pets at home is great to buy non medical related animal products.

Fantastic shop, friendly staff. My cat loves to go with us to the store where he can walk between the aisles, and the staff strokes him and is happy.

I enjoyed the new layout as i popped in today & met with these two lovely ladies who were up for adoption. The shop appears to be much more organised looking than it previously did. Unfortunately i didn't get to see any of the baby rabbits, i am unsure why as there was nothing i could see that explained it. Overall it's a lovely shop with a good diversity of products to fulfil most pets needs.

This is the worst pets at home store! We’ve been shopping with them for 5 years now and the service has drastically declined, we order our click and collect with them twice a month, we never get notifications when our cats food has arrived, have to constantly ring up and they always tell us just arrived, and not booked in! They very rarely pick up the phone and have to call multiple times to get through, lately the food has been delivered late and not on the day stated online! They Never apologise, hardly see staff on the shop floor lately either! We have a diabetic cat and are forced to special order Hills prescription food hence it’s crucial this arrives as stated. We shall be looking for alternative suppliers going forward! Very poor

Was given fantastic fish advice for pond fish and was advised a delivery of more would be the next week as I wanted two more. Went the next week to be informed by a different member of staff they don’t sell pond fish and never have. So what do I do with the ones I brought the week before. Get your staff some training please. If she couldn’t be bothered to serve me just say so.

Oh my. Getting a new puppy and the vets were recommended. Went in for information and the staff were kind and helpful and informative. I also had some questions later that I emailed and they responded promptly . All signed up with the vet and await arrival of my puppy …. Update….. got him x

I was about to buy a hamster today when I was served by this aggressive middle aged woman who not only rolled her eyes and asked questions in rude manner, also demanded us to buy an oversized hamster cage which she stated as “legal requirement”. RSPCA used to stipulate a minimum size (but again, was a guidance, never a “legal requirement”) but was dropped due to lack of evidence. My daughter was left crying on the way out as the shop assistant was so aggressive. What was meant to be a happy family half term outing turned pretty sore. She has no place in looking after the customers or animals. On the other hand , the young lady who initially assisted us was loverly and good luck to her finding better place to work. You deserve much better than working with that coworker.
