SKATE Bournemouth & Moguls Alpine Bar

The manager Rachel and her staff that were working this morning, were amazing. As a carer that had a child that needs 2 carers with him, the staff along with Rachel were brilliant, helpful and very understanding of our circumstances. Could not of asked for a better morning.

Daughter goes with her friends each year many times . Team do their very best to do the very best - good fun , exciting and great value

I agree with a majority of other reviewers. Too crowded. Spent £14 for a 1 hour session. Huge queue to get on the ice. Thirty minutes was enough for me. As I was tired of avoiding collisions.

A good evening had by all but to many let on the ice at same time. Music in bar far to loud to enjoy a drink so went to weatherspoons .

It’s a real shame that the Moguls bar area has now just been turned into a club. The alpine bar in the square was always the more bar/drinking option, and Moguls was a nice festive, cosy place to sit and have mulled wine and hot chocolate. Went in last night and it was basically a club - live dj, absolutely packed and no more nice little sectioned off areas like there used to be. Seems like more space has been left empty to create a bit of a dance floor, or they realised if there is more empty space they can fit more people in who are standing. Seems odd to have families and young children skating, but then turn the post skate cafe offering into a club.They used to our so much effort into making this a nice place to be that was decorated so nicely, and now it just feels like a cheap bar with a few fur blankets chucked around.

Whenever my boy fell over, a member of staff was over and making sure he was OK. There are a lot of people on the ice, but it is a great atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be having a load of fun.

Really don't bother. Far too many people aloud in on each session. The changing area was very badly organised and crowded. Think London Tube Train on a Monday morning! No better on the Ice, skates had obviously not been maintained and had no edges but it didn't matter because it was virtually impossible to go any faster than walking pace. Such a shame because the garden lights are amazing.

Very bad! Was over sold and so crowdy. Almost impossible to skate and the ring wasn't wet as the lady mention at the entrance it was literally flood! Not recommended spend your 12.5 £ in other place!

Very very busy, with google feedback only being ‘well we have less people than we had last year’ - which is not a great answer. Little side bit now fastened off with tape, which didn’t use to be making busier still. Also when you take off your skates you then walk on a soaking cold wet mat to pick up your shoes so you end up putting cold wet feet into your shoes. Will definitely think twice next year…
