Aberfeldy Watermill Bookshop & Cafe

Lovely bookshop and cafe.Live acoustic guitar playing.The cappuccino was very smooth great coffee.All drinks were great.Cake is lovely.Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

We went there last month and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The food was equally good, so was the coffee. The atmosphere is quite unique and welcoming, I would love to visit again next time :)

A lovely looking venue, in a great location. On a rainy day we went to visit, 3 adults and 3 children. All parents know how stressful it can be finding a cafe when the children are approaching snack time. The cafe was relatively full, but a table was leaving, we waited to be seated by staff (as the signs say) and then when we were eventually acknowledged an older lady walked past us and grabbed the member of staff saying she would like the table and have been waiting. The older lady said she’d been upstairs in the cafe and sat down. She clearly hadn’t been seen by staff at all and wasn’t willing to move. The staff did nothing and said they don’t have any tables. We said we were leaving as that wasn’t acceptable, no apology, no attempt to rectify and frankly an awful service. As we left, the older lady was sat on her own. The table would have comfortably sat us all, and we would have purchased cakes drinks and probably more, but instead the cafe settled for an old lady drinking tea, probably complaining and there for ages!

Had an incredible pumpkin spice chai latte here. Would def come back to try the food. The bookshop is great as well!

Amazing food! The bread was wholesome and soup of the day was tomato, basil, red pepper and fantastic as well! So flavorful! My white elderflower tea was good and unique.My husband had the ham and cheese sandwich (on same amazing bread) and a great cappuccino. He was happy :)We will return when we’re back in the area.Lovely staff and bookstore as well ❤️

Great bookshop gallery above an amazing cafe. Food is really good, vegan/vegetarian food are on menu. Prices are very good, staff are friendly and helpful.

We ate at the tiny restaurant at the Windmill. My husband's scone was good but I did not like today's special which was ragu. It was very sweet and too spicy and I like spicy foods. The restaurant has a nice vibe but I was disappointed by my meal.

The Watermill is a lovely place to wander around, with three different sections based in an old mill with some elements of that remaining.The top floor houses a gallery, the middle (accessible from street level) is the bookshop, and the lower level is the cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating.The staff are friendly and helpful, and I can certainly confirm that the food is good. I'm particularly fond of the gorgeous cakes they serve, and it's a great place to spend some time or meet friends.
