Good service for mot and honest feedback. I need new tyres but not just yet. They gave me a price that day so great follow up service / sales which I like. I've yet to decide if I go with them but if I do then I'll update my review.I plumped for them to fit the tyres and shocks and was very pleased. 5 stars now.

Took a car a test drive the brake kept pumping when trying to push it down wouldn’t perform an emergency stop and while trying to change gear the clutch was stuck to the ground. Company said it was a good car! Avoid this place!

I went into this garage on Thursday, their Tranent branch and was immediately approached by one member of staff, as he left to fetch a focus for me to test drive another salesman approached me and directed me to cars that looked at though they had bumps fixed with spray paint. The first salesman came back and left the engine running while the second handed me trade plates and asked where I was going. Didn't come on the test drive and did not check to see if I had a license. Straight away the brakes when pushed pumped against my foot. I then pulled over to look under the hood and discovered a crazy amount of electrical tape on all cables. I started the engine and my friend pointed out the exhaust must've had a hole in it as it screamed. Driving back I attempted an emergency stop at 15mph and the car didn't stop for at least 7 ft and then the clutch got stuck to the floor and needed a good pull in order to get the car moving. I got back and I was very angry, I went to tell the salesman what happened and he put his hand in my face and said that would be a no then" and walked away from me. Unless you have a death wish or enjoy poor customer service

Bought a car from here for 8,000 and lasted 6 months before the head gasket went, AVOID these cowboys

Excellent customer service, Car was flawless, hand over was effortless, could not recommend Dunwell enough. Very friendly and welcoming. Thank you very much for making my purchase an enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back.

After seeing car a week ago and putting deposit down on it, i was very happy with it all. All work was completed which i asked with no questions asked, car was ready and very clean outside and in for pick up yesterday and flawless customer service until i left. Thanks again guys!

I'd put no stars if possible. Avoid at all cost! Sold us a dodgey car, not even had it for 4 months and the clutch completly went, they tried to blame us even though they had ensured us that it had been serviced. The sale team was horrific to speak to. Absolute cheek!

Bought a car fron their Haddington branch on finance and noticed a few issues with panel alignment and trim fit when I got the car home, turned out to be a cat d write off. Car was returned and finance cancelled but car wasnt minted" like the salesman described on the phone who claimed to be paint and body expert. Beware! They tried to pull the wool over my eyes."

Just bought a car from Mark at Dunwell Motors Haddington, aka Bypass Service Station. The car was for my daughter and right from out initial contact to picking the car up the service was 5 star. No oversell when viewing cars and after choosing a really nice VAUXHALL Corsa the car was promised for delivery in a couple of days which suited us fine. Competitive prices as well having shopped about a bit on Autotrader (don't think they use Auto trader to sell their cars) Well worth paying them a visit I would say. 3 month warranty on the car thrown in which I wasn't expecting.
