Mill Farm campsite

Beautiful surroundings and very reasonably priced. Basic but sufficient amenities. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful to base yourself to take in the Essex/Suffolk counrtyside this spot is perfect.

Nice campsite. Clean showers and toilets. Lovely walks around the wood and small lake.

Zeer ruime plek op glooiend veld met stroom aansluiting. Facaliteiten verouderd, doch voldoende en schoon. Overgrootte deel van terrein is natuur.Afgezien van suizend verkeer op de achtergrond, stille omgeving.

I have used this camp site for around 18 years .Above anything it is a lovely friendly site .The facilities are clean and functional .There are woods and a lake to walk around which we always find relaxing .If you are looking for a quiet reasonably priced site then this is the one .

Nice park in the back of the campsite.

Lovely and quiet during the evening although you hear occassional traffic during the day. It's situated right behind a lovely garden nursery so I did splash out on some good value echinaceas. The site is split into separate areas for a) static caravans and b) tents & campervans etc. Quite popular with Europeans as it's not far from Harwich.Very clean, tidy, hot showers and you can park/pitch anywhere (there are no pitch markers).Excellent wildlife - rabbits, foxes, owls and possibly the most butterflies I've ever seen in one place. Also within walking distance of Beth Chatto gardens for those interested in gardening.
