The staff are great and are really nice things they sell are also very nicely priced like I have 9 posters and that only cost me about 36 pounds wich is quite cheap from the other posters I own the only thing I don’t like about the shop is that the plushies are very expensive

HMV Darlington a large shop for a small town which was busy. Staff here are helpful and friendly, the stock is arranged so that films etc are easily found by film dvds in film section by name, TV dramas in that section. The store on the day was clean, organised, stock easy accessible with staff to order stock if not available. This store is worth a visit.

Always happy staff, plenty of selection for a nerd like me and I always feel at home here despite only being interested in a small percentage of what they have to offer. The trouble is it's also like walking into a time warp, the place layout and everything hasn't changed in 20 years.

Nostalgic little shop full of interesting things and people, would definitely recommend if you like vinyl, music, movies or even just random things like posters and t-shirts with gimmicks on

A great experience whether you are a fan of new stuff or you appreciate the classics , they have it all. A wide range of vinyls, dvds, tech, merchandise, decor ( such as posters and prints ) and even various confectionery. There's something for everyone. I recently purchased a t-shirt (which there is a wide variety of here ). I couldn't find my size and asked a staff member at the counter for some assistance. They happily provided help and I managed to find the shirt in my size ( last one too ). As I was checking out, I had a nice conversation with the other staff member ( Shout Out to Emily ). She complimented my choice of shirt and we talked about the tv show 'Stranger Things' as the shirt was merchandise from the show. Overall I had a fantastic experience and plan on returning for more. 10/10 would 100% recommend.

A decent sized store with a massive selection of music, movies and merchandise. However, despite this, I can't always get what I'm looking for.Certain artists are just not carried in there and they don't stock certain editions of movies. You might be better calling ahead checking for something or just getting it off their online store.C-19 Notes: Clearly marked entrance and exits, with a easy to see hand sanitizer station at the entrance.

5 star staff always helpful if u Carn find wat u r looking 4 they will take u 2 show u where the item is this is wat I love about this shop

I enjoyed the HMV experience. There was plenty of stock on the shelves when I visited.
