The Eye Collective - Selly Oak Opticians

I have been looked after by this practice for many years now and feel completely confident in the ability of Sue the optometrist there and the welcoming atmosphere created by all the other staff. It is wonderful to be able to totally trust your optometrist and I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone! They will never try and persuade you to get new glasses if you don’t need them, and although the glasses they sell are not the cheapest, they are very good quality and you know that if ever there are any problems or you are not happy, that you can go back to the practice and they will do their best to sort out any problems.

Was worried about potential damage to my eye and about to set off on holiday. Office arranged contact from one of their opticians in a local branch ( Harborne) who saw me almost immediately during her lunch break. Had a very thorough clinical assessment all clearly explained. Excellent customer service. Fortunately, damage to eye.

I have used this opticians for 15 years during which time it became part of Eye Collective. I use them for both spectacles and contact lenses. They offer a friendly yet professional service. You can get appointments in an emergency and during COVID they have maintained a very safe practice of working. They may not have the huge choice of spectacles that you would find in a large store but there is a wide selection of very differing styles and lots of advice to help you choose a pair that is right for you, both optically and style wise. Give them a try, I doubt you will regret it.

I got Scabies from there, I strongly believe so. they use unclean equipments, they don’t use a protection between your face and their equipments!Also the glasses that I have got is not comfortable at all I prefer not to use them.Friendly staff, won’t recommend this place.

This was the first time i had been to the new facility in Selly Oak. I had been a customer for many years,. I found the branch, clean, very friendly and timely. I wasn't kept waiting, but showed to the room and seen to before seeing the optician. I was impressed. Hope they can continue to welcome all customers like this. I was impressed!

I had a very positive feeling that my eyesight will become better having an eyetest with Claire. I had several check ups and had different eyeglasses prescriptions. In a year, I guess I went 3 times to an optician, 1 is Ophtha but it seems I am not satisfied with my eyesight. Something is really wrong and I couldnt cope. Ive read the reviews of the shop ans it was very Positive.Claire was very good during the consultation, straight forward, upfront and that is what I need!She knows very well what was the problem and do what she had to do. (Thank you very much)After 2 weeks, I got my new glassea and it was perfect!It made really a big difference in my daily life.Thanks to your team as well!5/5

I am so impressed with the lovely professional people here, the trouble they have gone to making sure my glasses are spot on is really impressive, I’m not an easy person to please, things have to be right. Well I asked for three pairs of glasses and all are just perfect, the lens measurements were take with great care (I have a complex lens configuration) and they are all perfect.I have no issue recommending them to anyone and I’m not easily impressed but they impressed me.
