The Little Acorns Day Nursery Coningsby

From coming to walk round the nursery to my little boy joining the nursery, all the staff were very professional and very friendly! I had looked round a few other nurseries and even child minders but my little boy wouldn’t settle! Nicola and her team are great! And nothing is such much trouble! I get full updates of his days and he always comes home with a big smile on his face! If he is happy, I’m happy! Well done team little acorns 5stars from us!

My little boy has attended since he was 13 months. He settled in really well, he loves it there and learns something new everyday. The staff are friendly and approachable and will do everything they can to support the little ones. Just recently attended a lovely parents morning with cake and coffee. Would highly recommend to people

My daughter loves Little Acorns! Staff are super friendly. Plus it's obvious that they truly care about the children and my daughter isn't just a number to them. It's great to see what she gets up to through their daily updates. Management are helpful and willing to answer any queries. Highly recommend Little Acorns to everyone.

Both my children have attended the holiday club and Mighty Oaks which they both really enjoyed and always have lovely stories to share. The nursery is accommodating when I need to attend appointments and everyone is very helpful. Thank you for making my children's time special.I also love the fact this nursery has Millie's Mark accreditation which gives me the additional confidence that this nursery is going above and beyond to protect all our Children.100% would recommend.

My children have been attending Little Acorns for 4 years. A dynamic setting constantly evolving to meet the needs of the children and the area! A caring environment and lots of fun!!!!! Perfect for children who need smaller environments where they aren’t lost in the numbers and it is much more homely than a commercialised or larger nursery!!I have been very lucky to have my children attend such a fantastic setting.

For over 4 years, we are proud to say that Little Acorns have been our number one childcare provider…and we simply can not recommend them enough !! We love the children being there, and most importantly…the children love being there.When we moved to the area, we heard nothing but excellent reviews of Little Acorns; and from day one it was clear to see why. Our children were 2 and 1 when they first started and they were welcomed from the very 1st day. The staff helped to settle them in and made them feel part of the setting. During their time at Little Acorns, we have seen them develop their knowledge of their environment, their social skills and communication. Throughout their learn and play philosophy, Little Acorns nurture the children and support them in their progression into school.But for us the main reason why we recommend them is simple…it’s the people. Not only are the staff all very experienced and qualified, they truly are lovely people that go out of their way to accommodate all the needs of the children. In everyone of my drop-off / collection at Little Acorns, no matter how gloomy the weather is, I am always greeted by a member of staff with a smile to brighten up anyone’s day. Over the years we have witnessed just how hard the staff work at the setting. Miss Nicola and Miss Amanda work so hard to ensure that a top-class service is consistently provided. This is done through their development of the staff and over the years we have seen growth and expansion in the resources available to the children; which has resulted in Little Acorns becoming a beautiful, safe and fun environment for the children…and in our eyes, none of their competitors can hold a candle to them !!Little Acorns have also been a pillar of support to us as parents. Over the years we have had lots of laughs together, however, they have supported us through times when we experienced personal loss. In our minds and hearts there has been a transition in how we perceive Little Acorns…at first they were our childcare provider, but very quickly they became our friends…but now we only think of them as family !!Bottom line is, Little Acorns provides a very important feature to us parents…PEACE OF MIND…peace of mind knowing that you can leave your children in a top-quality childcare environment that is fun, educational and SAFE…we simply can not ask for any more.

Amazing nursery! Lovely friendly staff my daughter has been there roughly 8 months and has settled in really well she has struggled with her speech but since going to the nursery wow! Her speech has come on so well! Even her eating habits as well very fussy with foods but since being there all freshly cooked food its amazing what she now eats! I would deffianlty be recommending little acorns they have helped me out so much regarding my daughter! Couldn't fault them one bit!

This nursery is very poorly run the owner is only worried about holidays, not even being there when the children did there Christmas nativity. The children are left wet after outdoor play and having to wash the pots after eating. Yes I agree about children having a little bit of independence but this nursery is taking it to the extreme. Invoices are never the same even when the children do the same days each week. The rooms are shabby and no money is put back into the nursery and in my opinion is not a safe environment for children to be in.

My setting works very closely with little acorns nursery, the manager and owner are very supportive in sharing good practice and networking to gain knowledge. I look forward to continuing to work closely and networking with your nursery in the future. Keep up the good work you all do.

My friend’s children attend Little Acorns and they just love it. The staff are wonderful, attentive and great at organising all sorts of activities and the Forest School is brilliant.The meals are great and all cooked from scratch on site... we know the kids have had nutritious meals when they come home and they rarely want anything else to eat!Also, reassuring that Little Acorns is accredited with Millie’s Mark. Even costs less than my old nursery.Can’t recommend Little Acorns highly enough
