Cake Box Cheadle

Cakes beautifully presented and a clean welcoming environment. The lady who served me was lovely and really helpful. I really wanted to love these cakes but sadly not to my taste but that's just me- I am sure others will love them especially if you are vegan. My only other negative is I was given a plastic spoon rather than wooden. I would like to try the cheesecakes as they were beautifully presented. I just felt the cakes were overly sweet with an artificial taste - reminded me of cakes at school 40+ years ago!! It is always a good day when empty shops are trading again and I really wish these guys well. Customer service was faultless- all the best!!

We've been to many cake box stores, from London to Cheshire. We're glad that we went to this store yesterday to pick up our daughters birthday cake, the level of service from the young lady was faultless, my wife wants to come here more often as a result, the cake tasted great, lots of compliments from the guests. We will definitely buy from here from now on.

Hands down to the best cake shop in Cheadle. Trust me I’ve had a lot of cakes from different shops. This place is by far the best. All their cakes are outstandingly delicious and fresh.

Just visited tonight for the first time, the lady behind the counter was so polite and helpful. The cakes looked absolutely beautiful, there was so much variety (they are all made fresh in store) and they tasted so good. I got a slice of cake a cupcake and a cake cup and every single one of them were perfect - I don’t think I’ve ever eaten cake so soft and so tasty. Will definitely be visiting again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mango cake has no flavour at all. I ordered 3 times in last 3 months.First time the cake was really good. But the quality is getting degraded since past 2 times. Please don't put mango cake in menu if you can't serve the quality one. Thank you!!

Appalling experience bought 10” Friday 29th Sep23 Cheadle branch stockport , ordered and paid on Tuesday before, cake received not the design asked for used dark chocolate leaves and half cut strawberries , 2 strawberries on top gone bad , too late to change took it out box and writing for mums birthday spelt plum incorrect plumn ?? No one in family likes dark chocolate all pulled cheap chocolate off ! Terrible service no one from the shop got back to us once got your money not interested … ashame as we like the cakes there I wouldn’t use it again or I recommend u take what you can see, bad service . cheaper ingredients than asked for …paid extra bigger cake Grankid upset as they bought the cake as gift for the grandmother … wish I just shop bought!

The cakes look great but we ordered a fresh cream chocolate cake and it was extremely dry. It was very, very chewy as if it was a few days old. We are not sure what went wrong but it was definitely a disappointment. We have tried many Cake Box cakes (central Manchester, Leicester, London) and they’ve all been great, our preferred cake shop but not sure about the Cheadle one :/ maybe a one off bad experience, we’ll try again.

Lovely New shop on chealde High St. Cannot wait to try all the different cakes on offer! Very welcoming staff and clean shop
