Never wanted to jeopardize the kebab experience by giving rating, but you've hiked the price up. Can't justify paying £15 for a mixed kebab and now have to find somewhere else which means question after question after question from my Missus while she's trying to order.Farewell deliciousness. We had a good run.

Ordered a chicken burger and chips, got home and the chicken burger was just about edible, was real chicken with a crispy coating, had a salty, peppery flavour. The chips I would expect from chippy to be great, they were greasy, soggy and very poor.This was my second visit, first time I never reviewed and told myself to go to Chipmonks, should have listened to myself.£7.60 for chicken burger and chips, too expensive when half went in the bin.

Ordered salt and pepper chicken and chips x2. It was so salty it had to go in the bin. This was not a cheap meal, it was horrid. We will not come again... they just can't seem to get basic fish and chips right either.... disappointing.

The food and service from here is really good but it seems really pricey now. The fish and chips comes in its own cardboard box with the carton of peas, so there's not much room in there and portion sizes are limited and I suppose that's how portions are controlled. The quality is always excellent, the staff are lovely and there's a small army of them so service is quick. Great place and always really busy.

We have used crispy cod for years but never again. The salad was off, food was missing and when telephoned to complain I was asked to go and collect but i refused so they delivered it which was 40 mins later, the food was cold and went in the bin. This takeaway has gone downhill recently and i won't be using here again!

Food was oily and bland. We ordered through Uber which took forever to arrive as they had driver issues, when it did arrive we were disappointed with food quality. King prawns were not 'king' and some were mushy. We also had a duck dish which had a layer of oil swimming on top. Not a patch on other establishments.

Would give them zero for such rubbish food, taste was terrible.Not even single fresh vegetables in sight, just some mushy canned old mushrooms.Plus ordered king prawn meal, they sent chicken instead.

Best fish and chips in St Helens. We used to go to the Tasty Corner in Greenfield Road when we came down to visit, but that has been disappointing of late. This new find is really good.

Deffo one of the best chippies in Merseyside! Get so much food for the price, they've never got an order wrong and food is always so fresh when collecting or ordering for delivery! So much variety under one roof, Chinese, fish and chips and kebabs, so perfect for the whole family.
