Boots Pharmacy

This branch is understaffed. I didn't appreciate being treated in a rude manner earlier today, but could see that the person who served me was under intense stress. I go out of my way to try to be polite. Judging from other reviews, this wasn't an isolated incident.

Chronically understaffed since (and during) the pandemic. Waiting times of 15 minutes merely to get to the front of the queue with a prescription are not uncommon, coupled with a further wait of anything up to half an hour for the prescription to be dispensed. About the only thing that can be said in favour of Boots Uplands is that they're rather friendlier than Well Pharmacy, though that's a very low bar.

Absolutely disgusted. Sent my boyfriend for medication that my doctor advised hours apart because I fell asleep on him after picking up the first one. They are both over the counter meds. He was refused service for absolutely no reason and what I was trying to get my doc has approved of. Won't be going near here again. Absolutely disgusted that they think they know better than what my doctor advised they did not ask him my symptoms, just refused service.

Who in 2023 closes at mid day for lunch with a hand written note on glass ! Brand damaging / disgusting / poor operation. Go on , you take your lunch when the person who needs to uses pharmacy / store nips out on there lunch to waste time to find a high street chain closed at 13:00 . Shocking

As a pharmacy it's very good but please clean.the tiled entry it's filthy vomit etc would only take 5 minutes to wash down every morning

What a Joke, might as well close down no point being open. Was told at lunch time to come back 3:30, went back and the drippiest woman said I had to come back tomorrow. No idea what she was mumbling but new staff wouldnt go a miss and also a Chemist that can function.

Waited 20mins to drop off prescription, but even though had item told they won't do it today as it wasnt antibiotics! Was there 1hr before they close, so now I will go without prescription tomorrow as I don't have any tablets left.Shocking that they do this to customers on repeat medication.AVOID!

Shockingly understaffed. No one to be seen when I went in. Please hire some staff for the sake of your customers. Very inefficient branch and makes a one minute purchase into a 30-45 minute wait.

Complete joke of a pharmacy. Went in and queued. A lady came out and took the prescription of the gentleman stood behind me, which, from the conversation they had must have been a regular. The lady then proceeded to go and sort his prescription out and brought it out to him before the gentleman in front of me had finished. I then get to the counter and I am told that I can’t have my 7 days of antibiotics l after 2.30pm… bearing in mind it was 12.15 I obviously stated that it wasn’t ok. This is not an isolated story just the latest in a long list of rudeness I have been subjected to by this branch. I went across the road and used the Well pharmacy… polite and quick and while in there I witnessed them give fantastic hell to an elderly gentleman. Don’t bother with boots they just don’t care!

Dreadful 24 hour wait for a prescription after queuing for 15 mins and they close between 12.30 and 1.30 pm but staff are friendly.
