Airport Viewing Area

Amidst the lush green landscape, embracing every corner with the tranquil beauty of a man-made created flying Machine. A good viewing spot in Birmingham to see an aeroplane flying above you :). You can even get luckier to see Airbus 380.

This is a fantastic spot to have a picnic while relishing the sight of planes soaring overhead. I've brought my family here to watch them, and everyone had a blast enjoying the views and the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I must give credit to the local authorities for management, maintaining and providing such a beautiful picnic spot.Myself big fan of aviation as well as my kids too.We always love to see take off and landing which is cool part of flying.Very clean bin are provided. Track is available for walking, jogging and for the dog lover too.When it get busier in summer parking is issue otherwise its okay to park closer.Love to see when Emrates A380 land or depart.

An ideal place to visit in the summer, I've seen quite a few people enjoy picnics, walking their dogs or just passing through but there can be some dodgy people about. Ideal for plane spotters if you need a break from the NCP car park!

It was a very amazing place, you can see the planes up close and hear the amazing sounds of the massive pieces of this engineering marvel. The area surrounding the runway is full of nature and paths to explore along, maybe whilst your waiting to see a plane.Sometimes you see massive planes that are truly stunning to the eye, and others, you see smaller, but still, they are all clever designs of technology.Overall, I highly recommend a visit, even if it's only small, you are almost guaranteed to see something amazing, right above your head. It's always a good idea, though, to check the weather as the only shelter is trees where planes are not visible from. So a sunny or cloudy but not rainy day is a good time to visit. Will go again in future to see even more crazy things.

Busy on weekends and bank holidays. Lovely space to sit and wash planes. There is one single bin that gets over filled.Be sure to bring a blanket as seats are few at weekends. Don't go when it's dark as there are a small manority in the park up to no good.No toilets or facilities available.

My young grandson loves this place. I'm very happy to take him as often as we can. Travel to Marston Green train station, immediately alongside the runway. I like the planes too. I just wish there was public toilets close by, without having to walk right across to the other side of the country park. And a small refreshments hut would do a fair trade there, if the council had the money and initiative to set one up.

Interesting place to visit. plenty of benches to sit on. Lots of trash bins, but still not every visitor educated how to use one. There's bycicle stands as well, because many people visit this place by bycicle.

Park on Hazeldene Road, and it's a quick walk to get to the benched area.Great viewing spot of planes coming in to land over your head. Decent view of the runway, but bring binoculars if you want a better look. Downland the flightradar24 app beforehand, and you can find out more information about the planes and upcoming arrivals and departures.5 or 6 benches available to my recollection, but it's a big park, so bring a picnic blanket if you want. Multiple bins, so keep the place tidy. There are no toilets in that area that I'm aware of.Nice place that people walk their dogs and cycle.
