Sing and Sign, York + Selby

My little boy and I absolutely loved the Babes sing and sign course. Anna is absolutely fantastic and so warm and friendly. We’re looking forward to starting the next course!

I really recommend Anna's Sing & Sign classes. Anna is so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere in the class is great, with lots of opportunities to chat to other parents. I've completed the Babes and Stage 1 - and it's been lovely watching all the babies in the class developing and engaging more and more with the songs and signs. We use several signs regularly at home (particularly those linked to weaning), and the songs have been invaluable at keeping my son entertained during the tricky last hour before bed!

Such an amazing class. Anna is a brilliant teacher. She is encouraging and makes the classes fun for both parents and babies. I highly recommend the classes to anyone and wish her all the best. So sweet to see the babies develop and see how much they all LOVE Jessie cat.

This is the second time I have attended a Sing and Sign course. I did the Babes course for my now toddler two years ago and am hoping to do Stage 1 with my newborn once he reaches 6 months. My toddler is late in his speech so having signs which he understands and can use himself has been a godsend. He even signs and says the words together now. Anna is so helpful and welcoming; her personality shines through. i am looking forward to January when my son can do Stage 1.

A brilliant welcoming class to take a little one to! Anna is so good with the babies and is really knowledgeable about their communication and development. It was nice that the class size was quite small so it felt very personal. We've learnt loads of songs and signs to use at home, and I look forward to going to the stage 1 class when baby is 6 months.

Where do we start with this wonderful class and beautiful teacher….Anna has been so instrumental in Frida’s development since she was 4 months old. We did the babes class, then stage 1 (twice) and then stage 2 before I had to return to work. Anna is beautifully kind and patient with everyone in her classes, she tailors her approach to suit each age group and each child, it’s truly remarkable to watch. Frida watches the sing and sign videos at home and is quite literally…obsessed! Despite us starting the classes and being very consistent with signing since 4 months, Frida only really started signing when she turned 1. She loves the music and the signs have helped up understand each other before her speech (which is coming on brilliantly alongside all the signs) - she’s now 18 months and we still sign for most things. If there is one class you simply must do, it’s Anna’s sing and sign class. You meet some wonderful adults too, not just mums, there are dads, grandparents, family and friends that come along. Thank you Anna, we are forever grateful to you!

My little boy and I have had a wonderful time at Anna's sing and sign class. We started when he was about 4 months old and kept going till he was 2, and he's loved every stage. It's been wonderful learning new songs and actions to do together at home. The classes are really friendly and fun, and Anna is fantastic. Learning to use signs has helped my son tell me what he wants or what he's looking at long before he could tell me in words, and massively reduced frustration for both of us. I'd recommend sing and sign to anyone.

Loved sing and sign. The music is so catchy and Anna's enthusiasm is infectious. When we sing the songs at home my babies face lights up.

Sing and Sign is amazing! We’ve just finished our journey with Anna after so many terms (I’ve lost count!) but from when my daughter was 5 months to 26 months! The classes are brilliant- interactive and fun and every child is encouraged to take part at their own pace. My daughter could sign before she could talk and it was absolutely invaluable! Honestly - try it - you’ll have fun, make friends and Anna is a font of early years language knowledge. Just brilliant!

If we could give Sing and Sign York 10 stars I absolutely would! This is the most fantastic baby class that has created many memories and wonderful moments with both of our children.Anna is a font of knowledge when it comes to not just signing but also baby development and communication. Offering many words of wisdom and experiences during the classes.Anna, Dee and Jessie cat create a caring environment so the babies can play, parents/carers can relax, natter, have fun and learn.Our family could not recommend Sing and Sign enough, in fact we tell anyone and everyone about it.
