I bought my Fiat 500X from Colin Appleyard in Lockwood last October. I had it serviced in February 2023 and was told I needed two front tyres, new brake discs and pads for the rear and a pair of trailing arm bushes at a cost of over £1000.I know about cars and I knew they were trying it on as the car was MOTd a month before me buying it and these items were not picked up. Since buying the car and getting it serviced, I’d covered 400 miles.Today I had my MOT test done by a reputable garage and my car passed with no advisories! Surely within eight months the so called damage would have worsened??I will never buy another car from that garage again.

Posting on behalf of Mrs D Myers. Bought a car 12 months ago…. After 10 months and only doing 7,000 miles, a noise was persistently heard on the car. Took it in to Colin Appleyard, where they stated it needed £1000 worth of work, stating it was all wear and tear parts and it was NOT covered under the warranty. The salesman said he would speak to the manager, and would contact us. We had no reply after a few days, I rang them again to speak to the salesman, which they stated he was on holiday for a week. When I rang back after he had come back from holiday, I spoke to someone else who stated the service manager would ring back, which to this day, has NEVER returned our call. I will never buy a car from Colin Appleyard Huddersfield again, very happy to take your money when you are buying a car, but your aftercare has been absolutely appalling.

We turned up without an appointment to look at a couple of cars, Jonathan one of the sales team made us very welcome, we were interested in a suzuki swace, He went to Manchester to get us the colour we preferred within 2 hours wihich we thought was amazing. great service and very professional, 2nd car from them ,what a great team can't do enough to help ,Even a polite video to thank us for the business, thanks Jonathan.

We turned up unannounced to look at a couple of cars we had seen online. The staff there couldn't do enough for us. We dealt with Lewis who's whole demeanor was very pleasant and professional. He explained that he was a trainee. It certainly didn't hinder us or him. He immediately made both cars available to us. He ran through the procedures for taking a test drive. We don't know Huddersfield very well so Lewis offered to accompany us. Which we accepted. The test drive went very well and we were pleased with the car. On return to the dealership we agreed to purchase the car. We were offered a very fair amount for our part exchange vehicle, which we accepted and continued to purchase the vehicle. Everything went very smoothly. I would like to thank Lewis and Florence for making what is considered a very stressful experience into a stress free and pleasurable experience. I would recommend Colin Appleyard Huddersfield to anyone looking to buy a Suzuki.
