My partner and i recently became the proud owners of a Sealine S28 Bolero and wanted to enhance our boat by having the swim platform and cockpit area permateeked. We spoke to David on the phone, who at the time was busy with the Boat Show, but made the effort to visit our mooring at Cobbs Quay Marina in Poole to pattern the areas to be permateeked and left samples for us to choose our colour. Within a couple of weeks 'hey presto' we arrived at the boat on our usual Friday evening to find it looking absolutely stunning! Great service and a great job and very reasonable prices! After seeing Elite Marine's stall at the Southampton Boat Show I used them to renew the teak deck on my boat with their 'Permateek' plastic decking. Their quote was the cheapest from those I got for the work & the product looks as good if not better than real teak. The work was duly completed on time & I am very happy with the end result in terms of quality & appearance.

I have for sometime been concerned about the amount of work required annually to keep teak looking acceptable but liking the other attributes it has to offer.Having discovered Permateek and seen samples I decided to ask Elite Marine to install the product on all three deck areas on my Hardy Commodore.Together with others I am impressed both by the product and the workmanship shown by David Dougal (Elite) and his team.In my view Permateek is the future for boat decks, offering the best compromise between appearance and practicality.

The finished product is fabulous, we are beyond delighted with it!

After a follow up from the Southampton boat show, I commissioned Elite Marine to remove the existing teak laid ring deck; on my 36ft boat, template and fit a new Permateek synthetic deck.
